The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests and is tastefully furnished, combining period features with design elements. Located on the fourth floor with elevator, it consists of a spacious and welcoming living room with a double sofa bed, a comfortable fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a second double bedroom, and an additional bathroom. The apartment is quiet, well laid out, and ideal for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent: just steps away you’ll find some of the area’s most popular restaurants, numerous shops, trendy bars, and the famous Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, a favorite meeting spot for locals enjoying an aperitivo. The metro station is only a few minutes’ walk away. An agent met us at the apartment and explained everything to us about the apartment in full detail. He was also kind enough to suggest various restaurants for lunch and dinner. The apartment was ample in size, had a partially stocked kitchen with coffee, olive oil, sugar, etc. as well as soap for the kitchen, dishwasher, bathrooms and laundry. I really appreciated having a washing machine and foldable drying rack! The apartment was located close to a number of fantastic restaurants as well a a short walk to many of Rome’s major tourist sites. One negative would be that there was a smell of raw sewage when you first entered the apartment, but you didn’t notice it after awhile! Interesting decor. It clearly is/was someone's home. The location is great. We really felt like we were living in Rome like locals. The apartment hasn't been modernised for a while, so some of the electrical sockets didn't work and the bathroom was a bit "tired" (the detachable loo seats were a feature we could have done without). And being someone's home the beds are not hotel quality. The second bed is too small for two adults (unless a couple in first throws of love), so we had to use the sofa bed too. The sheets were clean, but the duvet (without a cover) seemed a bit grubby. The doorbell didn't work, and we only had one set of keys which caused logistical problems when you have 4 independent minded adults. It wasn't clear in the ad that it was on the 4th floor. There is a lift, but sometimes that was stuck off the ground floor because the doors are a bit flakey and need to be closed by hand. There was nothing supplied to eat/drink in the kitchen Tea, coffee, and bottled water would have been appreciated because we arrived late after local shops were closed. (Offering a welcome pack of basic foods and extra loo roll for an added price as is done in other self catering places where we stayed would be a great additional service.) The agent who met us was welcoming despite the late hour of our arrival (after 11pm) and when the hot water went off the next day came round promptly to fix it. Pictures were a bit misleading in that rooms are slightly smaller in reality. Kitchen was well stocked. Ample linens, pillows and blankets. Smaller bathroom toilet could use some refreshing as it smelled like a public toilet. The sofa bed needs to be replaced, springs are ver loud every time you moved. Air conditioning was awesome, much needed in the hot Rome summer. Location was close to the Colosseo. The property is as advertised and very comfortable. Spacious and comfortable layout, and very well functioning AC, something important when Rome is a 100+ degree inferno in summers. We also loved the location. It’s a very hip local’ish neighborhood and less than a block away there are a bunch of great bars, cocktails spots, and exceptional restaurants. It is a great 2 bedroom and right near tons of restaurants, shops, and gelato options. You could walk to the Colosseum in 10 minutes and be at the Trevi Fountain in 15 minutes. Right near a convenient Metro line at the Colosseum as well. The apartment was very clean and had all of the basic things you need for a short stay in Italy. Communication with the property management company was excellent and we were assisted with pick-up and drop off to Fiumicino Airport which is handy for a family. I gave 5 stars as the apartment was as advertised and the communication was excellent. My only minor points for the landlord/management company to consider would be to buy new mattresses for both beds and to provide a few amenities like coffee, tea, small thing of milk for new arrivals. The apartment itself is extremely clean but a little dated. Needs a new kettle, purchase of a toaster and check up on the water pressure in the showers and the plug sockets in the bedrooms. Lady who checked us in was lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable. It is well situated in the heart of Rome in a charming old neighborhood with many nice restaurants and shops. It is walking distance to the Fora and Colosseum as well as Santa Maria Maggiore and many other beautiful early Christian churches like Prudenziana and Prassedere. It is spacious and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large living room and decent sized kitchen, so was perfect for two women traveling together. It is generally quiet in the building and on the top floor (elevator access). There is a staircase outside where the kids like to hang out on weekends under the master bedroom window but closing the window helped, and in the mornings some construction noise could be heard in the building, but neither were a problem. There is no traffic noise from Via Cavour (miraculous). There is air conditioning that my roommate liked, but once she left, I found leaving the windows open was perfectly comfortable in October making the air not necessary and it was quiet enough to do so. A management company does the bookings and they handled things well, including helping with transport to the airport upon departure for a reasonable price with pick-up right outside the door on Via Clementina. Taxis can get to the property too, despite much of the area being in a pedestrian zone. The apartment was clean, but we would recommend a deep cleaning since there was a little mold in the bathrooms and some of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty and disorganized, despite the dishwasher. My traveling companion said the hot water in her bathroom was inadequate and we never heard back about what to do about it (she was only there 2 days), but the master bath hot water worked fine and I enjoyed the large bathtub enormously for a nice soak after much walking around the city. We would also recommend replacing the toilet seats with basic models, as the combination bidet thing is not so good. Also, Rome is now recycling and separating trash (terrific), but there were no in-apartment containers to help us manage this and we had to walk several blocks to find the bins and do this ourselves (owners handled this at the other properties where we stayed). There is a certain impersonal feel when staying at a managed property and it lacks the tender loving care that we experienced in other personally-owned and -operated properties, but I found it to be a great choice for a Rome stay and recommend it. ##### Maureen B. 2019 年 9 月入住 6 晚 ### 8/10 还可以 #### michele r. 2019 年 9 月 30 日 满意：清洁度 #### Escapade romaine des 5 Passées les premieres difficultés , eau chaude , wifi ... résolues rapidement avec l'aide de Rafael ... nous avons bcp apprécié notre séjour ds l'appartement , grand , calme , bien situé ... Cependant certains équipements sont peu adaptés pour 5 : cafetière , bouilloire par ex et surtout 1 seul jeu de clés ! The washing machine wasn’t working and we should have been told about this at check in. Also there had been no mention of a cleaning fee \[€20 pp\] In any of the booking correspondence.
