Beautiful hotel on Via Veneto. Everything is walking distance. Metro is nearby. Staff was excellent and room was beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Despite the age of the property, it was very clean and well kept. Service from check-in to departure was excellent! Danny, in the bar was very helpful in selecting a great local restaurant.

This was a beautiful and reliable choice for our stay in Rome over the holidays. It felt very luxe and satisfied what we needed. There were some elements that felt dated... carpet was a bit weird, the walls were fabric so be mindful if you have allergies. "King bed" was two very well used twins pushed together on wheels. The bathroom was clean and nice, good shower. The housekeeping service was delightful and once we settled in this was an awesome central base to explore the sites around the city. We really liked being able to retreat from the hectic tourism but close to whatever we needed. While dated... the aesthetic is also why we chose it... it feels like history because it is :) Enjoy!!!!

These insufferable a$$hats gave me the bum's treatment even as i was paying them. (it was 45° rain, and i have arthritis. I guess i didn't look the part of someone who gives an inkeep $600 amd goes straight to bed all low maintenance/disturbance like.) They told me there were no rooms and then moved in with the full bum's rush. AND NOW I HAVE A >€600 CHARGE FOR THEM AND THEY NEVER EVEN HOSTED ME. I HOPE THEY DIE IN FLAMES.

I had a great experience staying at the Westin. There was a short delay in the check-in of 10 minutes however but I got tickets to get complimentary water bottles from the bar in return. The wellness and workout facilities are exceptional and the express room service is of prime quality. I would come again to stay at the hotel surely.

This is an old property with a lot of character. Although, unfortunately, the fittings etc also seem to be very old. We often stay in heritage properties although expect the light switches, plumbing etc to be modern. But not in this hotel. The rooms are massive and we had a balcony although one couldn’t step out. Very quiet hotel. Nice cafes nearby and Spanish steps too are nearby. Overall would highly recommend this property although you need to be comfortable with fittings being from the 20th century. Not a problem for most I guess.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Rome for a week. The location was ideal for walking to the Borghese Gardens and Spanish Steps. The staff is very friendly and the housekeeping staff is very attentive. The first room we had didn't neet our expectations but the front desk manager made it right the very next day. The porters are also very helpful. The area is clean and quiet at noght and sits directly across from the American Consulate and Embassy. There is security staff that also walks around the property as well. The restaurant staff at Doney could be a bit more friendly.

Usually great - but this time there was a hitch

We love staying here when we come to Rome. (A few times a year) The staff is excellent. The rooms are nice but it would be nice if they upgraded the TVs like they have in other Westin’s to be able to use TV Apps or casting (as the channel selections are few) My only big issue with our recent stay was getting our cat the morning we were to leave. We had a 9:30am international flight so we called at 5 til 6am for the cat to be brought around. We figured we would get to the airport by 6:30 giving us plenty of time to get through international customs. Well they couldn’t get the garage to bring our car and at about 6:40 the guy brought a car - but it wasn’t ours and they insisted it was! When we showed them our receipt they tried calling back to the garage over and over and the concierge ended having to physically walk to the garage and they finally brought our car around 7:15am. Needless to say this put a giant strain on us as we were traveling with our elderly parents, and had to get fuel, return our rental and go through customs. We barely made it! Westin Rome we love you but this was unacceptable and very disappointing!

This hotel is very un-comforting. We paid two deluxe king rooms however when we enter the room we noticed the room had only a tub about 2 feet high to enter. we informed the representative Matilde however she wasn’t able to get us a room with a shower or a lower tub. I informed her we cannot risk stepping into this tub because if we fall it’s very dangerous also the Air-conditioner didn’t work in the room so they offered us a fan. Outrageous! We arrived about 4:15pm and I had a city private tour @4:30pm we ended up having to cancel the tour and leaving the hotel. we went to have dinner about 6:00pm which Matilde said she would see about another room when we get back, so we moved all luggage to 1 room. After getting back at 10:00pm we were told sorry no other room is available. We left hotel about 11:10pm and to make it worst they didn’t bring down all our luggage The next day I called and ask for my suit bag only to be told they didn’t have it. I told them if you don’t find my bag I’ll call the police. Once I told them about the police they called me back in 10 mins and said we found your suit bag you may pickup. This is the worst experience I have ever had in an international hotel. I was left without a room in the middle of the night. The suit bag remained lost until I mentioned the police, unreal. I requested a full refund and Maltilde stated that will be up to Expedia.

Give it a miss

The hotel was really outdated and excessively overpriced. Decoration was very shabby and very uncomfortable bed. I was overcharged substantially and promised repayment. This should not happen in a supposedly luxury hotel.

Great location but worn down

Location was fabulous and the front desk/valet staff was outstanding. Breakfast staff were rude and more concerned with making sure we paid/signed the bill than making sure we had everything we needed for the meal. At one point one of us just wanted to drop off a vitamin for someone else in the family who was eating and they were trying to charge us even though we weren't eating. We were also surprised with the condition on the room. While overall it was comfortable and clean the room was very worn down compared to previous Westin hotels we have stayed in. The shower also kept flooding the bathroom and into the hall no matter how many towels we put down on the floor. Just very surprising for a Westin.
