“My wife and i really enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we have stayed in this location and would definitely recommend this place. Its close to downtown. You can park your car when you show up and never need it till you leave. Clean and very comfortable. We were out all day and relaxed in front of the TV watching the games during the evening. My wife and i arrived earlier then expected and the host allowed us to check in early. Which was super accommodating!!! 5 ”

“Shipbuilder’s Retreat is a lovely property with plenty of space to spread out. The space was sparkling clean, well designed, and very comfortable. The property is a duplex (separated by two single car garages adding sound insulation and privacy) nestled in the woods but with very nice landscaping. It is close to shopping, downtown Boothbay, and access to local sites making it very convenient while still being tucked away. All the main entertainment apps are available on the TVs for your personal……

“I don't know what it is about this apartment that is just so relaxing and renewing to us. We love looking out the window at the harbor as well as people watching. Maybe it's the smooth jazz music that the coffee shop underneath us plays every day that gives our mornings such a calm start. Maybe it's being able to walk to so many restaurants and attractions without ever getting in our car. Maybe it's having hosts that are super-responsive to questions and concerns. “Perfection! Beautiful, immaculate, and spacious apartment with all the amenities one could ever need. Location was exactly what we wanted, off the beaten path, quiet, serene surroundings, and a quintessential Maine water view. It was a short drive to numerous quaint villages and to US Route1. Our hosts were wonderful, very responsive, made themselves available if needed and kept a well maintained property. Thank you for such a great visit. ”
