"We had two lovely rooms on the top (2nd)floor (be aware that there is no lift). One looked out to sea and the other had partial sea views but also had a small balcony with two chairs which would be lovely on a sunny day. Both rooms were very clean and there were two tub chairs from which to enjoy the views. Beds were extremely comfortable, probably the best hotel beds we have come across ( and that includes a well known hotel chain!). We appreciated the choice of teas (plus coffee, milk, biscuits and water) one could collect from the foyer but would have liked a hot chocolate option! There was plenty of choice at breakfast though quite a short breakfast window (8 to 9.15). All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. All in all a fabulous visit and we would certainly stay in the Anacapri again when next in Falmouth. "

"Had a comfortable couple of nights whilst my boiler was out of action. Clean, well appointed single room with modern en-suite bathroom. Slept very well. A nice old traditional hotel, some areas are a little worn / dated, but I understand looking after a property of this size and age is no small undertaking. Everyone was friendly and professional, from reception to the bar and dining staff. I got a great rate, with breakfast included, really was excellent value. Thank you Queens hotel. "

"The room was ok for an overnight stay but any longer and it needs comfy seats, not just a bed, to sit on. The curtain had been pulled off the rail on one side, so did not close easily, but the bathroom was roomy and very clean! The staff are delightful - very professional and helpful... They clearly like dogs at The Godolphin and accommodate them with flair! We sometimes feel dogs are just tolerated, though not here.....!! The food was just ok.... (dare I say even disappointing) the single boule of ice-cream @ £3 was tiny and under-delivered - why not charge £5 and give 2 decent sized boules? Prudence was a "stand out" member of staff and a credit to you!"
