Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. The room was very pleasant, clean and smartly decorated and comfortably furnished. The beds , linen and pillows all excellent. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast very good. The 110 granite steps of Jacob’s Ladder were challenging after supper in town, the kitchen being closed on Wednesday. Great staff and lovely relaxed vibe. The room was very comfortable, lovely bathroom and soft mattress. Gorgeous room with stone wall feature, double aspect and views across Falmouth Bay. Perfect location for exploring the town.
