You'll have sightseeing choices galore when staying in Waikato. Ruapuke Beach is a great place to kick off here, but there are lots of other interesting places to visit. Whale Bay, Manu Bay Nature Reserve, and Mount Karioi are near the stretch of coastline and and will cap off your day nicely.
