"This is a warm and welcoming family. The hosts are very kind, and the elderly gentleman’s eyes and words are full of wisdom. It was a delightful conversation with them, and the breakfast was delicious—the best French toast I’ve ever had. The house has a long history, but it is clean and well-maintained. The surroundings are peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and I had a restful night’s sleep. It was a wonderful experience."

"About the only complaint would be the Comfort Inn sign out on the the road was hard to see in the dark not being on plus the tree hides it a bit too... That's my only negative..."

"Our check in was with Josee and she was amazing. She was helpful from the start in advising on the veranda and sitting on that (and later checking on us) and places to eat. She suggested a spot we go to in order to wastch the sunset and it was amazing. This has not been a good trip for motels but Josee made up for it and made this our best stop by far to date. If we come back here - we hope she is still here as we would go out of our way to stay here. "

"The young man who checked us in was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room wasn't very nice. Sink - water went down very slowly. It is understandable that it's an older building but the general cleaning was very poor. "
