This hotel was okay. It was a golf club, and as you know, golf resorts are usually more expensive, but the price was affordable. At night, when we arrived, it was already very late, but I had called earlier to confirm if I could still check in, and they said yes. The person who helped us at 11 p.m. was very polite. However, the front desk assistant the next day was terrible — very rude, with an unfriendly expression, and constantly on her cellphone. When we asked if there was breakfast available at the hotel, she looked at us with an annoyed expression, as if we had asked something horrible.

The check in person was very helpful providing a more appropriate room. I didn’t need a suite.

Yes, the breakfast menu was very fresh, and the parking was safe. The room itself was not well maintained. The first room we were assigned had a very strong odor of cigar ret smoke. We had to request a change of the room. There was mold in the shower tile and the rim of the toilet was not the cleanest. The shower strip at the bottom of the shower door was not installed properly, resulting in a lot of water coming outside the shower box. We always stay at La Quinta hotels while we travel. W stayed at one in Summerville WA which was excellent. But the one in Morgantown definitely needs work.

Room was spotless, bed was so comfy only issue we had was the AC it was very warm in the room and it seemed like the AC didn’t work properly

after sunset it is very dark to drive and very few dining options no restaurant onsite
