Holiday house with pool in the heart of Mallorca

The Finca Son Burixo is located in the middle of countryside, only 2 km from Sant Joan (our town) and also from the motorway Ma15 (Palma – Cala Ratjada). Thanks to this central location, any part of the island can be reached within a very short time.

The house has 2 bedrooms, shower bath and a big livingroom with a new and complete kitchen. Outside the main door, there is a covered terrace with garden furniture’s where it's nice to have meals. From there, you will have a very beautiful view of the entire garden. The elevated swimming pool has two different terraces, one is on the roof of the house, where it's possible to enjoy an incredible sunset with a view of Sant Joan and the Serra de Tramuntana.

Son Burixo has a romantic and wonderful ambient for couples, families or friends who want to enjoy the holidays far from the mass turism.

Truly warm welcome from hosts. Freshly baked cake and huge bowl of fresh fruit and bottle of wine was a warming touch. The Finca is beautiful with lots of stock items - herbs and spices, good array of crockery and pans. Home from home. A thoroughly peaceful stay. It’s so peaceful with a lovely pool and rural outlook with no neighbours. Completely private. A car is essential. Bar Playa on Sa Marjal beach is a must. The food is amazing with huge portions.

A welcome return to Mallorca
Our first venture overseas since summer 2018 so we chose Mallorca as a favourite, familiar destination, however we had not visited this inland region before, and were not disappointed. The mainly rural, agricultural setting, surrounded by hills and mountains was beautiful. We were greeted on our arrival by the host who was very friendly, helpful and welcoming providing delicious cake, wine, fresh oranges and lemons. The villa sits in an idyllic setting amongst lavender fields, lemon trees and lots of colourful flowers and plants. The private, elevated swimming pool looks out over a magnificent landscape panorama and is a great size for a gentle swim. The property is really well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. Table tennis table, barbeque, wi-fi, lots of outdoor space and a variety of seating areas from which to enjoy sun or shade as you prefer. The whole island is easily accessible from this central point, and we enjoyed several excellent trips to Palma, Andratx, Pollensa, Arta and Alcudia old town plus some of the small local towns and villages such as St Joan. Overall an excellent and enjoyable holiday at a superb property in a fabulous location. Thank you.

Best stay ever!!
We had a great time at Finca Son Buritxo. At arrival Caty received us with a home made and delicious cake, a basket with fresh fruits, a bottle of wine for the adults and sweets for the kids. The Finca is in the middle of the Island, you have to rent a car, but easy to visit the beaches and cities, with restaurants around 10min. The Finca is great and has lots of space for kids to run around, including a farm that belongs to the owners, who let us pet the farm animals and collect vegetables from the garden and eggs from the farm. The place has an amazing view, with sunrise and sunset, also perfect to see the stars at night time. Caty and Juan are amazing hostess, always happy and they also surprised us two days with fresh 'ensilladas' (not sure if spells correct, but is a spanish pastry). I would like to thank Toni, Caty and Juan for the hospitality, God bless you all. We loved every minute of our stay, specially the kids. Everything was perfect and clean. For sure we will be back again and super recommend the Finca.

Well equipped apartment with friendly landlord
We really enjoyed staying in this house. The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of spices, oil and other helpful stuff. The house is spacious and the landlord was always a great help. With the help of his sons, communication in English and German was always guaranteed. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Lovely finca, lovely location - we had a great holiday here
This lovely finca is in a quiet rural location in the middle of the island. It is a short car ride to the village of Sant Joan which has a couple of small supermarkets and restaurants and is just a 15 minute journey from the larger town of Manacor. The finca is also close to good connecting roads to get you around and we explored a lot of the island in just one week. It was very clean and really well equipped down to the robot to clean the pool! It is surrounded by a pretty garden and has great views from the sun loungers. The family are warm, helpful and very welcoming and were more than happy for us to help ourselves to the produce from their land next door - eggs, melons, tomatoes, vegetables etc. We arrived to homemade cake and savoury tart, a bottle of wine and a huge bowl of fresh fruit. We loved our time here and would be more than happy to return when next heading out to the beautiful island of Mallorca. Highly recommended for a quiet retreat and a touch of Mallorcan rural life.

Wunderbare Auszeit im schönem Ambiente
Die Finca bietet alls was man braucht. Es gibt eine hervorragende Ausstattung für die Küche und auch alles andere an Kleinigkeiten um die Gäste glücklich zu machen. Wundervolle Finca
Eine Finca, wie man sie sich im Traum vorstellt. Ruhig auf dem Land gelegen, hat man trotz der Nachbarschaft zu den Gastgebern vollkommene Ruhe und viel Platz im Garten. Wir wurden herzlich von Toni und seiner Familie mit Kuchen und Wein empfangen, durften uns aus dem Garten versorgen (zum Beispiel mit Salat, Artischocken, Spinat, Orangen und Zitronen) und ihre Tiere besuchen, was für Kinder besonders toll ist, genauso wie das Spielzeug für den Garten. Der Pool ist groß und genauso liebevoll gestaltet wie das Haus, das alles zum Leben und Kochen bietet und sehr sauber ist. Nach zwei Wochen Aufenthalt ist uns nichts negatives aufgefallen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Oktoberurlaub mit Kindern
Wir waren im Oktober eine Woche in der Finca. Das Objekt befindet sich auf einem gepflegten Grundstück umgeben von Feldern in ländlicher Umgebung. Die Finca ist ansprechend eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es gibt zwei separate Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Baden ein. Besonders gefallen hat uns die unkomplizierte Art und Herzlichkeit der Vermieterfamilie. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Ein Traum für Familien
Ich würde jedem unserer Freunde diese Finca weiterempfehlen!!! In der Finca war alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Sogar viele Lebensmittel und viele Pflegeprodukte fürs Bad. Bei Ankunft fanden wir einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen vor, einen riesigen Obstkorb, einen Kanister Wasser und eine Flasche eisgekühlten mallorconischen Weisswein. Der Checkin war super unkompliziert und zuverlässig, genau wie die Kommunikation von zu Hause aus im Vorfeld (Toni, der Sohn der Besitzer, lebt in Deutschland). Die Besitzer Cati und Joan waren jeden Tag kurz da, weil sie sich um ihren Gemüsegarten und die Tiere nebenan gekümmert haben. Sie waren sehr unaufdringlich aber unfassbar herzlich!!! Wir durften alles Alles an Obst und Gemüse ernten und auch die Tiere (1 Hund, 5 Katzen, 2 Pferde, 2 Ziegen, 1 Esel und etwa 15 Hühner) füttern und streicheln - zu jeder Uhrzeit. Das Eier sammeln und hinterher Frühstücken war eins unserer Highlights. Die 2 Babykatzen ein weiteres. Der Pool ist der Hammer und riesengroß. Nur zur Mittagszeit waren viele Wespen an der Gartendusche und am Pool. Aber es waren nicht diese agressiven Viecher wie in Deutschland. Wir haben uns gegenseitig in Ruhe gelassen und wurden nicht gestochen. Selbst meine Kinder, haben sich schnell daran gewöhnt. Das Meer ist schon etwas weiter weg, aber wir sind einfach öfters mal einen Tag am Pool geblieben. Die Landschaft drumherum ist dafür wunderschön. Tolle Sonnenuntergänge und schöne Joggingrouten... DANKE

Unser Aufenthalt in der Finca war traumhaft schön. Wir wie auch unsere Kinder hatten super viel Spaß im tollen großen Pool. Der Außenbereich war grün und sehr gepflegt. Die Gastgeber waren super nett und hatten uns am Ankunftstag einen Kuchen und einen vollen Obstkorb gebracht. Die Flasche Mallorquinischen Wein gab es noch obendrauf. Wir lieben Tiere so hatten wir auch keine Probleme damit das es auch eine Hauskatze mit zwei jungen auf dem Grundstück waren. Der Gemüse Garten neben dem Haus durfte von uns nach Gebrauch geerntet werden. War ein tolles Erlebnis Paprika und Aubergine fürs Mittagessen zu holen. Im kleinen Städtchen Sant Joan gab es zwei kleine Supermärkte die vollkommen ausreichen für den täglichen Bedarf. Zum Ausgehen und mal schnell essen gehen können wir Sineu sehr empfehlen. Nicht so mit Touristen überschwemmt und tolle Restaurants. Wir hatten wirklich einen Traum Urlaub im Herzen Mallorcas. Danke Toni und Joan

Beautiful Finca in the middle of nature
We had the pleasure to live in this really beautiful finca with a big own pool. The hosts are really nice and we could grab vegetables from their garden. A supermarket is only 5 minutes by car.

100% Weiterempfehlung. Wunderbare Finca in idyllische Lage und herzliche Gastgeber.
Wir können dieses schöne Ferienhaus bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Das hat man selten dass man insgesamt sagen kann: Die Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Fotos spiegeln die schöne Atmosphäre exakt wieder. Ansonsten: Umfangreiche Ausstattung in der Küche sowohl zum Kochen/Backen als auch Geräte und Geschirr. Hand- und Badetücher mehr als genug. Holz für den Ofen (wir waren im April da mit noch kühlen Nächten um die fünf Grad) wurde gestellt. Sehr nette und herzliche Vermieter. Wir waren über Ostern dort und die Vermieterin hatte uns Empanadas gebacken und Kekse. Ihr Mann brachte und an einem anderen Tag einen Eimer voll frisch gepflückter Orangen. Super bequeme Betten. Ausreichend Stauraum für den Kofferinhalt in den Schubladen und Schränken. Schöne ländliche Idylle mit zwei Katzen immer wieder zu Besuch und morgens kräht der Hahn aus der Ferne etc. Top Lage des Hauses quasi am geographischen Mittelpunkt der Insel. In max. 50 min. Ist man mit dem Auto in fast jeder Ecke Mallorcas. Die Autobahn in fünf Minuten erreichbar aber man hört trotzdem keinen Lärm. Super Kommunikation mit Toni und seinen Eltern. Das Grundstück und der im April bunt blühende Garten sind liebevoll gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ganz herzlichen Dank an Familie Roig.

Perfekter Entspannungsort für Familien
Wir waren Anfang März zum ersten Mal auf Mallorca. Der Kamin war ein Segen. Durch den ganztägigen Sonnenschein konnten wir den großzügigen Garten mit unserem Kleinkind genießen. Großer Pluspunkt: Der Pool ist mit einer kleinen Tür unzugänglich für Kinder & es gab auch einen Kinder-Essstuhl. Auch die Innenräume sind gemütlich & sauber. Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit köstlichem Kuchen empfangen und die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar- besser geht’s nicht & vielen Dank! Auf dem Nachbargrundstück gibt es versch. Tiere- perfekt für Kinder. Die Lage ist, wenn man die Insel erkunden möchte, ideal. Da man von hier aus in jegliche Richtung nicht allzu lange fährt. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert. Wir sind mit viel Wehmut abgereist und kommen gerne wieder <3

Wir wurden herzlichen Empfangen und ab Landung bereits vom Vermieter kontaktiert. Die zentrale Lage der Finca Son Burixo ermöglicht es, alle Ecken Mallorcas mit dem Mietwagen bequem und zügig zu erreichen. Die Finca ist sehr gepflegt und mit allem Notwendigen ausgerüstet. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und sind für ihre Gäste da. Wir haben unsere Tage auf Mallorca und in der Finca sehr genossen und können dieses Feriendomizil wärmstens empfehlen! Toni und Alice

Himmlisch schön
Eine traumhaft schöne gepflegte Finca und eine Oase der Ruhe. Alles ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet und es fehlt einem dort an nichts. Die Finca bietet einen perfekten Ausgangspunkt zu vielen schönen Zielen der Insel. Caty, Juan und Toni sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit ein paar Aufmerksamkeiten begrüßt, die von ganzem Herzen kamen. Die Tiere der Gastgeber (Pferde, Katzen, Hühner, Ziegen, ein Hund und ein Esel) schließt man sofort ins Herz. Die Hühner hatten immer ein Frühstücksei für uns :-) Liebe Caty, lieber Juan, lieber Toni, vielen, vielen Dank für diese schöne Zeit! Mallorca ist für uns eine der schönsten Inseln auf Erden. Mich ärgert es immer wenn ich für nur 7 Tage eine ganze Packung Geschirrspüler taps, Salz, Pfeffer etc kaufen muss. Hier ist wirklich alles dagewesene! Die finca ist top ausgestattet, es waren sogar Waschmaschinen taps vorhanden. Handtücher ohne Ende und die Eltern des Vermieters haben uns mit einem selbstgebackenen orangen Kuchen empfangen. Wie konnten den Gemüsegarten nutzen. ...also erst ankommen und dann was einem fehlt einlaufen. Von hier aus ist man wirklich in 30-40 min. Überall. In Petra ca. 10 min. Gibt es tolle Restaurants. Die Finca liegt aber unweit der MA 3xxxx ist eine Landstraße die erstaunlich viel befahren ist. Wenn es windstill ist, hört man jeden Wagen, da ansonsten keinerlei Geräusche vorhanden sind. Uns hat es nur einen Tag gestört. Wir sind begeistert und können die Fica empfehlen.

Wir haben uns als Familie bewusst entschieden unseren Urlaub auf dem Land zu verbringen. Die Fahrt vom Flughafen dauert ca. 30 Minuten und ist absolut kein Hindernis. Sowohl vor als auch während des Urlaubs war Toni nahezu rund um die Uhr zu erreichen. Auch seine Mutter (spricht gut Englisch) war immer hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für den Obstkorb und den leckeren Kuchen bei der Anreise. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und es sind auch allerlei Utensilien (Schwimmnudeln, Bälle, Strandsonnenschirm, Sandelzeug etc.) vorhanden, sodass nicht alles separat gekauft werden musste. Der Pool ist optimal gestaltet, da an den Seiten unterschiedlich hohe „Sitzbänke im Wasser“ sind, sodass man im Wasser auch einfach nur relaxen kann. Ein kleines Manko waren die Wespen bei der Außendusche und am Pool, die allerdings im Vergleich zu den deutschen Wespen gar nicht aggressiv sind und es auch mit Kindern (3 und 7) kein Problem gab. Störend waren allerdings die vielen kleinen Ameisen, die in der Küche Abends aus der Zwischenwand kamen und an der Wand/Boden krabbelten. Tonis Vater kam zwar sofort um sie zu bekämpfen, was wir dann auch selbst jeden Abend machten. Ich glaube aber, dass man dieses Problem nicht lösen kann, da das Haus nunmal auf dem Land ist und man damit rechnen muss, dass es auch auf Mallorca Tiere geben wird… Sicherlich ist sowohl die Ausprägung der Wespen als auch der Ameisen Jahrszeitenbedingt unterschiedlich. Wir waren Anfang Juni zu Gast. Nichs desto trotz würden wir die Finca im Nachhinein noch einmal mieten, da die Alleinlage, gerade für Familien, einfach super ist. Sehr schöne Finca, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auch die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Super herzliche Gastgeber!! Alle Fragen und Wünsche wurden sofort beantwortet und umgesetzt. Wir konnten im Garten Zitronen, Zwiebeln, etc zum Kochen ernten. Tiere sind auch in der Nähe, wir konnten frische Eier aus dem Stall holen. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Einziger kleiner Abzug ist für das Wespennest am Pool zu machen. Wir haben aufgepasst und uns arrangiert, aber für Kinder ist das etwas problematischer. Vielen lieben Dank, wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!
