Just went for a sleep and left the next morning but it was very cute and very clean. Quiet too. Felt like a cottage atmosphere. Recommend for simple but everything one needs for a peaceful place to stay.

Perfect location to the beach and all that Santa Cruz has to offer. You can hear the waves from your room. Comfortable beds and all the amenities were impeccable. Would stay again if we find ourselves in Santa Cruz again

Our stay at the Edgewater was wonderful. The staff was welcoming, the grounds well maintained & our room very clean with a beautiful view! Couldn't ask for a better location, in the middle of the action but still peaceful & relaxing. We'll be back! Thanks for a lovely getaway!

I was so surprised with this hotel. Booked last minute for my family of 6. Did the Family Suite has a beautiful full kitchen we used the gas Weber grill which was very clean swam in the pool at night that was heated. Had a great time. Coffee provided in lobby you can check out games and best part is it’s a 5 minute walk to boardwalk. You walk out and you are across the street from the pier. Perfect location

This was such a cute place to stay, and steps away from the wharf which was amazing! The only thing I didn't particularly like (but was looking forward to) was the patio which was included in my room BUT it is a shared patio between a few other rooms so I had to keep the blinds closed the entire time as the bed is right there. Other than that, great place. One parking space is provided per room, staff was extremely helpful and friendly as well.

This was a great property - wonderful location - super clean. I love that the pool had extended hours (even though we did not get to use it). Coffee available anytime and the room was spotless and great. One thing which was a surprise was the cost of having our little doodle stay - it's more than most places - so be sure to ask about that as we assumed it would be like other places we've stayed. Apart from that tiny surprise, we were 100% satisfied - everything exceeded our expectations.

We absolutely loved our room with the panoramic view! We were pleasantly surprised by the propane fire pit on the private deck, which we made use of in the evenings. Huge living room, comfortable bed, nice kitchen (has basic pots & pans but not too well stocked, would suggest bringing your own coffee). Also loved the jacuzzi tub. The bathroom was clean but could use some new caulking around the tube. The motel is older, but it does look like they have made good improvements. The location can't be beat, as we could walk down the hill through the private parking lot, right to the beach and wharf (a bit of a climb coming back up!) We would definitely stay here again!

The property, the staff, the cleanliness, the really well equipped kitchen and the size of the room were all terrific. The only drawback was that the windows from the bedroom and bathroom could be seen into from other rooms and you could also see guests in other rooms. The bathroom was not suitable for us, because the bath was a whirlpool bath it was set very high and because I am under 5'3" it was incredibly difficult to climb in and out of even to take a shower. You could not adjust the angle of the shower head so there was no way to stop it shooting water out of the shower. We placed towels along the edges of the bath to soak up all the water whenever the shower was used. I would stay at the property again but would choose a different room.

Location was conveniently located near the ocean and a short few minutes walk to the boardwalk and pier. They boasted a kitchen, however, I learned the kitchen cleanliness was dependant on the previous guest. We had to wash all pans, utensils, etc prior to use. They also didn't have everything standard (like a spatula- which we asked for and they took from another suite). That was a turn off, personally. Additionally: read the ad! There is no AC in any of the units.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property, especially for families. The apartment was spaciou, clean, and having a kitchen was very convenient. The pool was excellent, giving the kids a fun and safe place to swim and play. It’s within walking distance of the beach and offers beautiful views. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.
