Located at the corner of East Ruskin Street and 30A, Waterside is directly across from the East Ruskin private residential beach access. You can sun all day and return home to the cool, shaded seclusion of this comfortable home. Waterside is surrounded by native live oaks to provide a cool and private respite from that wonderful summer sun and passers-by alike. Upon arrival, you will enter Waterside through its expansive large wrap-around screened-in front porch furnished with deck chairs and a dining table for 6. The first floor consists of an open living, dining, and kitchen area, a bedroom with a King bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, two baths, and every room opens onto a screened porch or deck via French doors. The spacious galley kitchen opens onto the screened porch, as well as the back deck, making it convenient for serving meals or just having morning coffee on the deck. The second floor is entirely devoted to the king primary suite. If it were not for the draw of the beach, you might find yourself spending all your time in this extra-large room with a natural plank cathedral ceiling and open rafters, a balcony to enjoy gulf breezes, and if you must bring the laptop, there is a work table. The primary bath has an oversized tub that is perfect for relaxing. The back deck of Waterside accesses one of Seaside's quaint footpaths that will take you on the short walk to the town center. The screened porch was so enjoyable; we ate all our meals on the porch, and spent tons of time outside there. Our family of 5 had such a great time staying in Waterside! It's a such a warm perfect beach house. The location is everything. The home is noticeably older but so charming. Being right on 30A next to the town center and directly across from beach access is very convenient, just know that the cars and crowds cruising until about 11pm are incredibly loud. The master bedroom upstairs doesn't have its own thermostat so it stayed about 5-10 degrees warmer that the rest of the house. Master bedroom also does not have a door to the master bathroom. Beach right across the street, a little shopping & eating just steps away. Soooo easy & relaxing. House was very clean, communication was superb. The only downfall for us was the beds. We were hurting after a few nights sleeping on those beds but our stay was still enjoyable! There is a park at the back of the neighborhood to take your kid(s) to as well! Literally out your back door to Seaside town square. It gets a little loud with traffic but really didn’t bother us. The house needs some updating. One shower didn’t work downstairs, and kitchen needs oven mits. Beds are not the most comfortable. The location makes up for a lot of this. Great vacation overall!! ##### Janna H. This house is in the best location for action, however it is still private with multiple patios downstairs, one facing the action and one facing the bakery (more private). There is no tub upstairs, instead a really big shower, which we appreciated. Water gets super hot and a/c worked great. ##### Craig W.
