"My wife and I stayed at Makanas for 10 nights on May 2024. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The studio is nice ans has everything for the stay. The staff (Vane and Leysi are the best) was awesome and prepared the best waffles and gallo pinto ever for breakfast! I would HIGHLY recomend that if you did not rent a 4 wheeler or a car, find somewhere else to stay because Makanas is very far as a walking distance from either bars/restaurants/supermarkets, and taxis are extremely expensive "

"This was a great stay. Less than 5 min to the beach, there is a dirt path across the street. Everyone who tends to the property is so very helpful. We arrived way later than planned and Richard was so accommodating. He even carried our bags up. The place was super cute, pool was a great way to end the day. It’s right off the Main Street but tucked away for privacy, there is no foot traffic because someone is always on duty so it’s very safe. The red apartment was clean, well kept and maintained, and we’d stay again for sure. "

"Loved staying at Zula Inn. Family of 4 with small kids 9&5 yrs old. We stayed for 4 nights and ot was just wonderful. Super comfy and spotlessly clean. Rooms provide all utensils you need to stock up on groceries and do your thing. We decided to eat out every meal and there are mulyiple options near by. My favorite part...After a sun baked day at the beach with an amazing sunset (5-8 min walk) walking into a cooled A/C clean room with all cleaned and beds made 😎. Of course dont forget the nighly deep in the pool before calling it a night with the kids. Would definitely stay again if in the area. "
