"The Villas feature lovely gardens and well-kept surroundings. A/C offered only in Primary bedroom. Our villa had lenty of fans, a clean pool, and many amenities throughout. Staff on site were courteous and helpful. Neighbors were also very nice and friendly. On the other hand, the property was difficult for us to find and the roads leading to the property were not yet paved; thus, a 4x4 would be highly recommended. I would stay at Villas Argan again without reservation."

"We loved the house and all the comfortable accommodations. We were not prepared for a heavy early rainy season and the conditions of the roads. So we would recommend a high clearance SUV. We had to cancel a fishing trip to Tamarindo because the time and distance was too far. Our host gave us great restaurant suggestions on WhatsApp—printed menus or websites for them at the house would be even better. Info on nearby things to do would be good too."

"The location is fantastic. You can walk to the beach through a path in the woods. There are a couple of good restaurants very near by and the grocery store in next door. The property is very nice, but the first house, Agua Viva, does not offer much privacy. You can see into the pool area and main bedroom from the walkway and the side road. "

"Lua Villas was absolutely amazing for our week long stay! The kitchenette is well stocked with the cookware and dishware we needed to cook most evenings. We enjoyed the yoga studio and the pool daily and thought the location was perfect for what we wanted. Playa Hermosa Cóbano is a quiet and lovely community away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa, but close enough for a jaunt into town if needed. The landscape and vegetation at Lua Villas is beautifully done to allow guests privacy and seclusion within the space. And we can't forget the staff. Everyone was so helpful and Julia, in particular, helped us with so many things. We'll be back and will plan to stay here again without hesitation!"

"We stayed in Manzanillo because we had family members staying in Santa Teresa but we wanted a more laid back, less bustling scene. Manzanillo was a great choice. It's about 20 minutes from Santa Teresa, and the house was beyond expectations; one of my favorite Vbros ever! It's perched on a hill of its own, up a short steep cobblestone driveway (4WD not necessary) with a treetop sublime view of the ocean and jungle-covered hills. The beach (much less crowded and low key than the Santa Teresa beaches) is a two minute walk away, at the foot of the hill. The beach goes on and on, you can walk for hours. You hear the crash of waves and the birds and, now and then, monkeys. The interior materials....wood, polished concrete floors with wood accents, polished concrete counters, comfy wicker furniture and white walls and open floor plan create an architectural gem. Large door shutters open up to let the outside in, creating expansiveness. There is a large porch with hammocks at each end and sofas and rocking chairs. This house is ideal for families and couples. The bedrooms are situated at each end of the living room/kitchen area. Equally important in the equation is the responsiveness of the host. Kristi is exceptional. I had so many questions because I felt responsible for other members of my famijly who were staying nearby, in regards to transportation and activities etc...Kristi unfailingly responded with kindness and attentiveness. A sheer delight!"
