"Location of its facility is surrounded by magnificent and beautiful mountains with lots of green, atmosphere is totally different from big city Tokyo. The owner of pension is quite friendly, and capable to treat guest with "omotenashi" from his long experience. "

"All the outdoor furniture (table and benches) on the terrace (including the wood deck) were completely covered in yellowish dusty pollen and had
to be cleaned in order to be used. We sat down unknowingly and our clothes got really dirty from all the pollen.
The rubber outdoor sandals were only one size and too small. I’m a womens US size 9 or 39 European size.
I had enormous trouble signing into my YouTube account on the tv, which wasn’t the case last time I stayed at a different Rakuten stay...

"By far the most serene and peaceful experience of my life. I can’t overstate how accommodating the staff is. Our room was upgraded and we had a corner suite of 3 large rooms overlooking the mountains and the river. I was astonished how luxurious the rooms and food are. Each night we had an 8 course meal, each morning a huge breakfast. Honestly, it was too much food - that’s the only complaint I have! I felt terrible wasting even a bite of the exquisite, carefully prepared gourmet food.
I will be back to recharge and unwind in the hot springs. This was the highlight of our first 2 week vacation in Japan. I can’t get over how heavenly the property is. And it’s immaculately maintained. Such careful attention from the staff. What a gem. I feel so lucky to have experienced this magical place. "
"Stayed here on a family holiday in 2 double rooms. Convenient location as we were driving and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Dining options are available nearby; the sushi place directly across the road is excellent! Would be happy to recommend to others who would like a slightly unusual place to stay "

"Staff only speaks Japanese with minimal English. Thus, please ensure you've made all reservations correctly and properly online if you can't speak or understand Japanese."
