They also have a few stores and restaurants in the hotel, or connected to the theme park. Room was smaller than expected but clean. Breakfast was great and worth buying in our purchase - it also had a fabulous view of Mt Fuji in the morning. Only downside was the Onsen access. Discounting buffet breakfasts in five-star hotels, where just the sheer variety overwhelms, we concurred that we had never had breakfast at any hotel anywhere in the world as good as what the Lakeland offered — in spread, quality, taste, and presentation. A solid 10/10\. The rooms are very spacious, the interiors are reminiscent of early Japanese modern architecture, the staff is very professional and courteous. Especially notable is the traditional Japanese living space with tatami mats and washi walls, perfect for tea and relaxation. Our room had an unencumbered view of Lake Kawaguchiko to boot.
