The heart of the bustling village of Seahouses is within half a mile, with a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. From the harbour, you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to spot an array of birdlife, colonies of puffins and grey seals. The sandy Seahouses Beach is within 100 metres of your doorstep, where the coastal path leads north towards Bamburgh Castle (2.5 miles). Alternatively, head south to Beadnell Bay (3.5 miles), which is popular for water sports and beach picnics. Other local attractions include Dunstanburgh Castle, Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum, Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden, all within 16 miles.

In one corner, the dining table is perfect for sharing your favourite dishes together, and the beautifully arranged galley-style kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of workspace. Further into the cottage, you will find a shower room and a choice of two cosy bedrooms: a tastefully furnished king-size room and a bunk bedroom, each with plenty of storage space.
From the lounge, double doors open out into the enclosed courtyard garden with a patio and ample outdoor furniture, offering a lovely spot for dining alfresco on sunny afternoons with the sound of the sea in the background. Private parking is available for up to three cars at the front of the property.
