Stayed at the Selma Hampton Inn while visiting a friend and staff was very welcoming and helpful when looking to extend my stay. Room was good and updated and very accommodating as well as very nice breakfast area in the mornings. Will stay again next time I’m in the area!

We had a air conditioning leak in room 101 and it made the carpet smell moldy. The staff did bring in a blower to dry it. The staff was great, the buffet was good. Overall a good stay.

Very good location in Selma. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean room and comfortable bed. Very good shower. Only minor thing was hot tub was down for maintenance. Would 100% stay here again.

Extremely helpful staff, we were greeted and helped immediately upon our arrival by a very polite and professional staff member. The room was very clean and neat. As we passed the front desk, headed out to grab dinner, they asked if the room was ok, and if we need anything or if they could assist us with anything else. The next morning the breakfast area was clean, neat, very organized, and the food was amazing. 10/10

Great on the basics: clean bed, hot shower, clean room. Better than average breakfast. Quiet. Good green space for walking the dog, pet waste bags provided. Old carpet made the halls and room smell musty. The pool was closed, a HUGE bummer when traveling with road-weary kids.

Coming home for my dad funeral

I had to attend my father's funeral so I reserved a room at Hampton as well as Holiday Inn in Selma, Alabama but chose to stay with Hampton because of the indoor pool and the price was a little cheaper. Over all my stay was amazingly comfortable and the staff was pleasantly nice. I gave the score of a 4 because there was a few hiccups such as the staff turned the water off to my room with no warning, however the manager explained to me what was going on and compensated me.

The service was good checking in and out of the room. However, housekeeping never came to our room. We were not notified of any housekeeping policies regarding servce to our room. The breakfast on the first day of our stay was very good, but could have been better on the following days.

Upon my arrival there were some discrepancies with my room but Mya at the front desk took care of me she was very professional and hospitable. She went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my room! The next morning I met Deedee at the front desk who was absolutely amazing as well! The location has a great staff keep up the great work ladies I will most definitely return!
