Staff member at check in refused to speak to me. He would only speak to my husband although my name was on the reservation and I was paying for the room.

Nicest Wyndham we stayed at this week! Beautiful room that seem likes it’s had recent updating. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Kids liked the pool and game area.

We booked for one of the domes. It's pleasant, if cheaply furnished. The dome is heated with a space heater which makes is quite cosy. We booked for a lake view but didn't get one as it was almost completely blocked by trees when others had clear sight. Tiny towels are unusable, so take your own. Bed is comfy but has very odd bedding, certainly not cotton. We saw plenty of small wildlife such as squirrels and chipmunks and lots of jellyfish in the crystal clear lake. Sadly, the lawned area is covered in dog poo with no effort made to pick it up. Little thought has been given to the overall experience for the guest. Such a shame as it could be really beautiful with a bit more effort.

Our room was large and fairly comfortable. The sleeper sofa mattress was somewhat uncomfortable for our teenager as the springs were poking through.

Room was good - comfortable bed, VERY spacious (we had a 1BR suite. Staff was nice. Overall a bit of a dated feel. Outside of the boardwalk along the waterfront, the area wasn't particularly great - seemed a bit depressed.
