"Actual chalet was lovely. Overall the place looked "tired", but was acceptable. There was no air-conditioning; only one fan in the loft that did not cool the entire place. It was a hot weekend. We could not spend time outdoors due to the hundreds of ladybugs outside (outside your control). The hot tub was a treat. Bathrooms: no handsoap at the sink in master bathroom. No shampoo or shower gel or soap in tub area and shower stall. One hairdryer in main bathroom that did NOT work. No hairdryer in other washroom. We had a wedding to attend and had to go buy one in town!!The kitchen area, though large and appearing to have all the basics was the area of most disappointment. No drip coffee machine! The stove top espresso machine was a treat until we realized there was the filter part was missing which made it essentially unusable! The "automatic" espresso machine was a treat until we made coffee. Not sure what the issue is...maybe it needs to be cleaned. It kept producing bitter coffee. Again, we had to resort to our own means for coffee. The 4 slice toaster produced 2 burnt slices and 2 didn't work. The cookie sheet was so old and disgusting, it was virtually unusable. Provide foil paper or get a new one! Only 1 measuring cup. Provide entire set.With some updates and refreshing, we would return."

"The chalet was incredible. Very quite neighborhood. Beautiful surrounding. The chalet is well equipped, it has everything to make yourself, you are at home. Also has a big deck with an afternoon sun. Even met Louis for a short time, had a nice chat with him, he is a great host. I would definitely recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peace and quite. Thank you Louis for hosting us in your chalet!"

"From the moment we arrived the host (Sophie) was there to welcome us with such kindness and was a delight to answer all of our questions. She also took the time to recommend some of the towns popular spots. The home is an absolute charm. If one is looking for a getaway that bring comfort and antique beauty, this place is it. "This chalet had it all! The location is wonderful, the house is modern but still a chalet feel to it. Great spa, firepit, kayaks on the private dock and my personal favorite is the screened terrasse. Best spot to relax without the mosquitos! I would recommend it any time, we loved our trip. "
