Great little room with lots of character for a very reasonable price. We’ll stay here again as we visit the area two or three times a year. The only reason there were two “4” ratings is that those categories really didn’t apply to our stay. Will look forward to our next visit to stay in another of the “theme decorated” rail cars.

This was a fabulous stay! Such a fun and unique place. The employees were so sweet and helpful. I was lucky enough to get to tour a couple other cars while they were being cleaned. Each train car is decorated differently with such quality and creativity.

Self check in, the cleaning staff really assisted with getting us a bandaid when we needed one. The room was amazing, and it was quite literally next to the Olympic Discovery Trail which made for a great weekend of bike riding.

Wow - I kinda knew what to expect by the photos and reviews, but wowza - Wizard Car is spectacular- not necessary to be a Harry Potter fan. Very playful and magical - for all ages. Small quaint and comfortable- will try all the themed cars next time. Ignore the poor reviews - keep an open mind and think about the talent to put these together- wonderful stay

We stayed in the Wild West caboose. Loved it!! It was fun, decorated great and clean! Parking for you right next to your caboose. They have a building on site where you can go and get more Keurig pods, borrow games, books and movies. Theres a game room with microwave popcorn. Free laundry facilities and more! I loved it! It was safe and comfortable. It’s such a fun experience, if you travel to Sequim, you must stay here!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. This was by far the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The property was really unique and our railway car was well themed. The beds were very comfortable. When we are back in Sequim we will definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Caboose #8 that is a Harry Potter themed train caboose. The design and decor was beyond exceptional. We loved the room and every square inch of this was decorated, we were amazed!

I booked this sort of on accident because it had three beds. I was traveling and backpacking with two friends and we pulled up expecting a hotel because like an idiot I didn't look further than three beds. That being said it was actually a fun surprise. We enjoyed the little train yard with all the different units. The layout inside is very clever. If you're 6' or taller the twin beds might be a bit cramped but it worked fine for me at 5'11. There's wifi and TV, the jetted tub was a nice surprise, although when started to fill it I did notice some hair and dust. The way they drain makes it very hard to clean them so I just let it wash down and refilled it, not a huge deal. I'd definitely stay here again but probably with my kids they would definitely get a kick out of it.

A great novelty stay for any Harry Potter fans -- or those who just like the magical and whimsical. Lived up to our expectations and all the pictures others have posted. The copula gets very toasty. Incredibly clean. No onsite staff, so be sure you received their "How to check-in" text/email before you go and/or have their 800 number on hand.

Space felt smaller than expected. Felt kinda cramped and not as comfortable as a normal hotel room. Novelty of staying in a train wears out fast. Bed was comfy, text support was good, place was mostly clean. Just not our cup of tea in the future.

Check-in was simple, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and just SO lovely. It was a real respite at the end of a long day. There was true attention to detail in so many large and small ways; check-out was as simple as could be. I truly enjoyed my stay. Pictures do not do this adorable refurbished train car justice. I could live in it.

I almost don’t want to write a review because I don’t want others to know about it, but on the other hand, I cannot be so selfish and not write a review either. It was one of the most loveliest days I’ve ever been. The Olympic Railway Inn was an easy access to every place we wanted to go. Lavender Fields restaurants cafés everything was easily accessible, but most of all it was the cutest place I’ve ever been. I love how the train caboose has been converted into an end and thematically decorated. I wish I could have stayed in each one of them for a little bit, but that said it will bring me back again to this place with new friends to make new memories.

Nice place, one phone call to staff who were prompt and very helpful. It was difficult to keep the place warm but we did fine in the cold weather the two days we were there.
