It feels private but welcoming. We built a little snowman on our second night with the balcony snow. The views are insane from every angle in the house. We enjoyed sitting out in the hot tub overlooking the mountains in the area. The only downsides is the fireplace does not actually provide heat it’s more of ambiance, the lid to the hot tub was not secure because the clips were broken so we were chasing the cover in the wind (they had rocks on the cover to secure but the wind blew them off) , the pans are pretty scratched up and bent, and the inside tub doesn’t get warm (it is hot when u first turn it on but then it’s cold by the time the whole tub fills). The management did get us another cabin not far down the mountain which was nice but with a lesser view. There were a couple of things the cabin needs to correct. The dryer did not fully dry our clothes. We ran it 3 times and couldnt get it to dry our clothes. There was leak issues coming from the freezer into the frig causing our food to be soaked when the ice maker is turned on. Had to turn off the ice maker to have it stop. The stair rails were loose and needs to be better secured. Overall besides these issues the cabin was very nice. Very private and away from neighbors. I wouldn't mind staying here again if they are able to fix the issues I mentioned. ##### Sam C. The views are utterly amazing, and the sunsets are even better! Hot tub outside was nice, and perfect for 2 people. The top blew off a couple times with the high winds because the straps were broken, but a small end table put on top kept it in place. The place was clean everything was in working order. If you're going to fill up the hot tub inside, make sure you don't shower or do dishes beforehand, as you'll need all the water in the water heater to fill it up which we quickly found out. All in all, it was a pleasant stay for our family of 4, and we would stay here again. ##### Peter G. When we arrived we were shocked at how beautiful this place was that we instantly started looking around at all there was to see! The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and peaceful! Yeah there a few bugs but it's a cabin in the woods, don't let that ruin your time! The view was absolutely breathtaking and having a hot tub to enjoy while looking at it made this even more amazing! Not only did I get to celebrate my birthday here...I GOT ENGAGED!!!! I went to bring my finance coffee and right around the corner of the wrap around porch, there he was with the sunrise behind him, down on one knee. I wouldn't have pictured it any other way and where we were just made it even more perfect! Thank you to our hosts for fantastic communication and the birthday and engagement wishes that were given! Saw cardinals, bears, butterflies & a hummingbird. It is a cabin at the top of a mountain...some dead ladybugs on upper window ledges. Old deck boards littered underbrush below cabin. A little farther below along road is parking for other cabin & storage trailer, which is not so picturesque. Both shower curtains had mildew. Main floor shower operated reverse from expected, so cold showers first night until figured out. HARD mattress, cheap feeling sheets & slightly musty smelling bedspread. Dirty glass on deck door & matching window detracted from panoramic view. Badly scratched non-stick pans. Sticky puddle on kitchen table on arrival. Dirty door frames. Dead TV remote batteries on arrival. Could use better located hooks & shelf space in bathrooms.
