The river deck is very nice! Good to bring a book or beer and relax there. Shady Cove is a very good location for Crate Lake visitors. We will definitely come back next time we visit.

We had a wonderful one night stay here on our way to explore Crater Lake. Location was easy to find & convenient. Our room was super clean & comfortable. Bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced! Area is quiet & peaceful! Would def recommend for others! Would stay here again if in the area!

This was a nice and clean motel right in the river. The western theme was prevalent thriving the room. Nice little area along the river to sit and also a picnic area in front of the rooms. Only suggestion is to recaulk the tub/shower area.

Town itself was not what I expected! I was hoping rustic cabins in woods along the river but it was just boring town of Shady Cove. Proximity to the restaurant was great. Lodge had no amenities. Parking was kinda tricky for my room. I will likely never choose shady cove again. Just boring little town. O hiking trails or any other outdoor activity without a drive.

Clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious! Our ‘room’ at Riverfront Lodge felt more like a little condo unit than a typical hotel room, which made our stay especially comfortable. The accommodations were clean and well maintained. Although the lodge is right on the river, we couldn’t actually see the river from our room, but that didn’t take away from our overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our room was clean & our linens we clean and fresh. I would have liked to have a blow dryer and a full length mirror. I did bring my own blow dryer because I wasn't sure if there was one in the room. Overall I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Room was decorated with old time cowboy paintings, very eclectic. Everything was very clean. There really aren’t any amenities, like pool, hot tub, or onsite breakfast to rate. My only complaint is that room cleaning is by request only and they leave an envelope in the room for a tip for this service… Otherwise the stay was good. Walls are thin, so be conscious of that. We only were here for a couple nights. It wouldn’t be a good place for longer stays, but worked great for what we needed.

Had a lovely stay at the place on the way to Crater Lake National Park. Very spacious and clean rooms (it actually was slit into a separate bedroom for one of the beds) with a small kitchenette. The grounds are also well maintained and pretty. There is a deck overlooking the river that guests can enjoy and some yard games for the kids. The location is great for getting to Crater Lake, but otherwise is a very small town. Overall great value. Would recommend.
