Everything from coffee shops to eateries and shopping are close by. The spa on site was fantastic! Great breakfast and the most important was the entire staff! The stay was amazing and can’t wait to go back!!

Shanghai family trip

The best choice was to book this hotel, we can not have any negative word. Metro line no. 7 right by the hotel. Each one of the staff was polite, very helpful, respectful. The room was quite big, modern, the bathroom had shower and bathtub too. Everything was clean and every day cleaned. The breakfast was excellent, fresh made juices, chinese style dumplings, soups, everything tasty. This way we would say THANK YOU to hotel staff, it was really a wonderful stay in Shanghai.

Helpful and friendly staff

I like to commemorate the staff at the gym. Mr Steven is very helpful and friendly, he not only kept the gym area clean but also constantly going around sauna area to make sure the place is clean and tidy. Another staff that o like to commemorate is Mr Daniel from the concierge. He helps us to check on location that we want to go and go the extra miles to tell the taxi driver where to drop us as my old age mum is together with us. Really enjoy the stay in Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel. Thanks for giving us a pleasant stay. Cheers😀

Check-in hotel is smooth , front counter stuff is very polite , room is nice, buffet is normal standard but the bonus is they have a fresh fruit juice everyday , the first day when I went to their Restaurant for my breakfast the stuff there is very polite and nice and good service, very impressed me but one of the Saturday I request a mix fruit juice , the person in charge of the Department staff told me I have to wait, I replied to him is ok I can wait then he pulled a long face , the last 2nd Day before we are going to check out, me and my hubby went for a breakfast there is a funny thing happens to us ,when we walked near to the restaurant entrance , one of the staff saw us then he pulled on his black face and turn his head and walked away, like us own him money , you don have to greet us every day, I'm not urge for that, at least don't show me your funny black face .

Five staff facilities, staff Not up to the job.

Nice hotel with good facilities. But not five star as claimed. No one really spoke English Apart from a couple at reception, including the restaurant which seem to be closed at night; although it was hard to tell. No many bar and I couldn’t find whether there was room service. Smell of cigarettes smoke. Nice indoor pool and spa.

My corner room with work station is awesome!!! Great view, clean and lots of light. The bathroom is awesome with great lighting to apply makeup. So many hotels are dim and dark, but not this one. Its lovely. But the BEST thing about this hotel is Julie Som. This woman never seems to sleep. Notbing is too much trouble, Julie knew i had a question to ask before i did. What an amazing asset to have here at the hotel. She is a diamond. Thank you Julie for all your assistance whilst we were here.
