"The cottage was just perfect for a do nothing weekend. We have an elderly dog who loved the spacious garden and meadow. "This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

"Overall this is a great property. Very secluded but near to main roads and easy access to amenities. There are however a few things that would have made a vast improvement to the property considering the cost to rent. The sitting room could do with more and better seating. Considering this is for 4 people, 2 small sofas is not sufficient for evening comfort especially considering the dining area can accommodate 8 people. "We really enjoyed our stay in Louisa's cottage, we felt so welcome and settled in in no time. The weather was not our friend and we didn't get to do as much exploring as we would have liked. There are lots of walks around that we would have loved to try, but we'll just save them for next time! It did mean we were in the cottage for long periods of time, but that was absolutely fine as it had everything we could ask for and was super comfortable. "I stayed at Peppercorn Cottage with my husband, 3yo, ten-month old and our dog and it was heaven. It's an adorable house, packed with character and beautifully done out. We had everything we needed and Nicola was very helpful in bringing over kids bits and answering any questions. Cheriton is a lovely village; Arlesford is great for small independent shops and the countryside is gorgeous. We had a great weekend all in all and would love to come back."
