Perfect location for the shopping centre, bars, restaurants and theatre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As it's in the centre of town, can be a little noisy at night, but it's to be expected.

I loved our stay here. Staff were so friendly, comfortable room, lovely shower and a tastey breakfast. I can understand some other guests' reservations about it though. We stayed on Sunday night, when the bars and clubs next door were closed, so it was lovely and quiet (and no function on at the hotel itself). We really enjoyed the games cafe as well and played a game for an hour. There were two lively D&D games going on which made a very fun atmosphere! But if you were looking for a quiet pub, it might be a bit perplexing! Would stay again. Thank you!

We stayed here for just one night, there was also a wedding on at the same time. However from our room you couldn't hear anything. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. Will definitely be staying again. I would highly recommend this place

This is a lovely Pub in the heart of Old Basingstoke. A trifle awkward to get into by car, but plenty of parking once we'd managed it! Friendly and helpful staff. A good breakfast.
