"The blossom hotel was central to a lot of things, easy from the Kyoto station 15 min ride. Or you can ride the subway too. We walked everywhere except took the bus from the hotel to the older city of Gion for less than $2 USD. The shopping is great 20 min walk to high end department stores. Lots of great restaurants. "

Staff is top notch… outstanding. Roof deck rocks. On-site laundry is clutch. Comfy beds. Wild shower. Just book it. And he bakery… wow."

"Great location, out of the main part of Kyoto but still with good transport options. Room was a good size and clean. We had breakfast included in our stay which was good to start the day, quite small selection. We used the washing machines on site which were easy. Value for money was excellent, recommend if you are wanting to stick to a budget but not compromise on the important things."

"Great location - walkable to a lot of sights and close to 2 train stations for easy access to other areas; 1 min walk to the riverside. Lots of restaurants and basic shopping needs in the area. Rooms were new, clean and spacious, and the complimentary coffee bar was great. At times a little noisy at night when louder / rowdy people walk by, but overall an excellent experience. Would definitely stay here again. "
