The 1st room they assigned me, I walked into it and the room had not been serviced. Same thing in the 2nd room as there was a sleeping bag on the bed and someone had been using the pillows. The 3rd room, the shower didn't work...and so they had to give me a room without a King size bed but 2 queen beds and the shower looked like it had fungus all over it and I could not close the bathroom door as it had wrought out and it was missing the piece that would go into the door frame to keep the door closed and they had string on the door and a nail in the wall, I guess you closed over the door and used the string to keep it closed.

The location was excellent - in a lovely tree filled neighborhood within easy walking of the main commercial streets. The room was comfortable, clean, no frills, but did have a little fridge. no complaints. But there is a general air of disinterest in the details that make for a truly pleasant experience. The Keurig coffee maker in the lobby of the guest building was a plus, but no milk, only artificial creamers. There were unwatered dead plants in the public areas and the inn went cheap on guest toiletries and the continental breakfast. The mini pastries were stale and tasteless. There is a restaurant in the inn with lovely outside seating, but dining experience was disappointing the food was only fair. A tomato salad special - about $16 - had only 2 small pieces of chopped tomato. Service was friendly and reasonably professional. This would be a great place to sit outside for drinks.

Loved the house, the owner, and his dog!

Didn't have a great experience and I have been to this hotel when was under millennium. But now has gone downhill. Start off checkin took over 1hr and the staff said will send help no one came and then they offered a 20% discount for the bar as if all the families will attend the bar. Then 1 elevator is out of order making more delays. The hallways are hotband humid on the floors and worse part is at 6am you have barking dogs and when go to front desk they say they know but can't do anything. Dogs didn't stop till 8am I didn't ask for a wake up call at 6am. Tried talking to a manager and staff seemed very protective and said come back 1030am when arrives at 10am manager only to be told she's not here. Then I call in afternoon and they said she is here wait and then told oh no she is in training call back and hangs up. Absolutely absurd and horrible service. Pay a few bucks more and go somewhere else.
