I hate to do this because we have stayed at this motel over the years many times, it has never been the best motel to stay at but we dealt with it because it is the only option in town. I do understand it has changed hands many times and with the location it is probably hard to find help. This time though was the first time we had to worry about bugs in our room. We checked in and got into our rooms and then headed to go see family. When we got back a gentleman was coming out and told us to check our beds as when they checked theirs there were bugs. We were like great, for the most part we can handle a bit of a dirty room and we do realize that even in 4 star hotels you can get bed bugs. So we went to our rooms and looked as best as we could and did not see any signs of bed bugs, that we could see. BY Sunday though that was a different story. In my kids' room, they are older, they were definitely freaked out all weekend and then on Sunday it got worse, the bugs came out, so now when we got home we had to go through the motions to make sure we did not bring any hitchhikers home. I know everyone is struggling now in the world we live in but between the rooms not being cleaned the best and the bugs, stained bedding and so on this time I could not ignore it because it is just going to get worse I fear. Also it is throughout the motel so you know they know because I am sure there were plenty of complaints from other guests.

room 222 king suite was very nice and roomy ,couches and chairs and bar area with fridge ,coffee and sink in one room bed in other . Bathroom was roomy also . very clean. breakfast was ok sausage hashbrowns and eggs then the usual , only bad thing was in the morning the shower only had hot water - yes couldn't get it to be warm or cold - sink was good and could adjust it ? so not sure what was going on , but couldn't shower as only hot .. also ample parking and convenience store and coffee shop right across the street .

Beautiful hotel
