I didn’t realized they did not serve breakfast! That is on me. The AirCo was set on a temperature I could not adjust. I woke up ever night sweating. I opened the window but it was also hot outside. I barely slept in 2 days! That’s not cool!

Booked a suite for 4 nights. This is a Small Luxury Hotel so expectations are high and they should be. Enjoyed our stay and were pleased but with some disappointments. The hotel is in a great location. Parking is difficult but this is Europe and a European city so we expect this and were given options by the doorman/bellman who was most helpful. Check-in was warm and welcoming along with helpful. Any contact with reception prior to arrival was replied to and dinner reservations made for us. This is not a purpose built hotel but a retrofit. Therefore there are quirks. The suite was comfortable but the bathroom for a suite in #15 is small. Maybe this shouldn’t be categorized as a suite but a large room with a small bathroom. Given the large windows the room is dark, natural light is non existent in the bathroom and the lighting in both bathroom and room is quite poor. The bed is very comfortable but … when our linens were changed we experienced cigarette smoke smelling linens. Very very unpleasant. The A/C worked well along with wifi. Yes, the water was hot. In the shower we had the setting on cold to make it comfortable. An unusual problem for sure. Complimentary bottle of wine was appreciated along with bottled water daily. Goodies at reception a nice treat. Breakfast was good with a small buffet and menu for cooked to order. Maybe not an extensive buffet but the cooked to order items were nice to have.

Hotel is quiet run down. Noticed the run down areas from the side car park as soon as we drove up. Walking down the corridors to the room it definitely is not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are ok and clean but furnishings are showing wear. We booked a pool view room and were alloacted a partial view. We did get moved to a slightly better view. Breakfast is good and stafff are helpful. This hotel could do better with a renovation.
