“Schull is a lovely place and the house is in possible the best place to enjoy it. The views are stupendous and the walk into the village is quick, convenient and scenic. The house is well laid-out to make the best of it's amazing position and the facilities are ample and convenient. The host was very helpful, making the check-in very simple and answering a couple of subsequent queries promptly. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful home with ample room for two families. We were greeted by the host who took the time to show us around and followed up with us to make sure all was going well. She provided us with milk, cream, coffee and tea which was much appreciated. It is newly remodeled, each room was lovely and well kept. There is outdoor furniture and the lawn rolls down to the sea. We would highly recommend.”

“The location needs more than 5 stars. A beautifully quiet place with bluebells everywhere. Extensive paths through the grounds where the dog could run free. A peaceful and stress free time. Jackie and Jonathan were friendly and helpful but never intrusive.”

“My brothers family and mine stayed here for a family reunion! This home was the perfect pick! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as shared family areas! The home was up a hill and the views were incredible. We also had a donkey and horse that came to visit daily! It was very clean and cozy and we all had the best time. Thank you to Sean and Norah for their hospitality. Highly recommend!!!”

“We were a family of 9 that included our 2 Grandchildren ages 7 and 5 years. We had all traveled from 3 different continents to visit our Irish Roots. We were not disappointed. Our stay of 10 nights went by far too quickly and can highly recommend this beautiful and very spacious property. We will never forget the wonderful hospitality from John and Carla. The welcome basket was very generous. The days were filled with trips to beautiful local places such as Skibbereen and Clonakilty. The views……

“Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut. 3 min Fussweg bis zu einem kleinen Strand mit Robben und ca. 20 min. geht man in den Ort. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Die Kommunikation mit Ann war sehr gut. Wir haben uns da sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder”

“We had a fantastic Easter holiday at Chris and Kathleen’s beautiful home. The house is so comfortable and had everything there that we could possibly need. Our kids loved the playroom and had so much fun playing with the toys there and the garden is gorgeous with balls and badminton etc in the garage that we we played out there. The location is perfect so close to Skibereen town only a couple of mins drive or it’s possible to walk. It’s close Baltimore and the beaches at tragumna and Tralispean……

“Hosted by the loveliest people, we adored our stay here. We loved the big, comfy couches to sit around the fire on in the evening, a large gravel driveway for the kids to play ball on, three toilets to make bathroom sharing easier in a family of 5 and wifi and lots of TV stations to pick from. Our hosts put the picnic table out when the weather got warm and stopped by to see us on our way and really made us feel like part of the family!”

Very good facilities inside and out and the house works really well for all weather eventualities . We had an unexpected and glorious hot blast of late summer and the house was a lovely place to be - the outside eating area and bbq really came into their own. All communications with Ross were easy - the whole thing was stress free and excellent from start to……

“The staff was extremely accommodating for my 5 year old son. I accidentally booked the wrong size room and they took care of it. We ate breakfast and dinner there and it was excellent. Beautiful view of the water as well!”

“Staff were great and room was very clean along with the bed being comfortable. Only thing I could say is that the full Irish breakfast was quite bare could do with a bigger portion size which can be easily improved on”
