Perfect for 2 people to unwind after a long day of hiking or climbing in the Red River Gorge. The cottage has a full size fold-out futon, TV and DVD player, coffee maker, toaster, induction cooktop, and microwave. The outside area has a picnic table, fire ring, and small charcoal grill. The Middle Fork of the Red River runs next to the campground and is a great place to throw a line in and fish. No Pets Allowed This adorable cottage does sit in a campground, so expect to see campers in tents and RV's. There is not Wi-Fi in the cottage. There was an old RV parked next door and there was junk all over the place. There was no TV service, not even an aerial. While we weren’t there to necessarily watch TV, it would have been nice to have to wind down after a day of hiking. We had the AC and the ceiling fan on high and the cabin never cooled down. However, the futon as extremely difficult to pull out or back up. I had to pull the entire unit away from the wall and get behind it to lift it back up which strained my back. If any one had a back issue they would not be able to do it. The futon cover, when pulled off, left a lot of dirt on top of the mattress and had to be cleaned off before sheets could go on.
