Such a noisy hotel room - wooden floors and constant noise of the door into reception slamming below us which really interfered with sleep . Also windows very old and metal so could barely get them opened . Overall it was very overpriced for what it is

This hotel was okay, but nothing special apart from the lounge where the bar was and the fact that you can use the adjacent water facilities to a certain extent. However, I did think it was overpriced as the room wasn’t really any different from any other hotel room. The staff were helpful, my room was clean but there are a few cobwebs in the corners and the bathroom was a little tacky. I would imagine some of the rooms have a lovely view over the harbour but all I had was a bit of manky garden. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and it isn’t very far from the ferry terminal, so it’s quite convenient.

Had an amazing overnight stay at Mar Hall for my wife’s 50th birthday. All staff couldn’t be nicer and the place was stunning.

Very welcoming couple; the breakfast was fabulous and all the amenities were excellent. The lady owner is extremely nice and helpful and takes care to make nice breakfast each and every day. Highly recommended
