It was a place to rest and refresh while driving around the Kenai Peninsula. Free breakfast was nice. The restaurant was closed, so we could not experience that. The bed was comfortable. The TV controller was a little challenging to get to work at first. Really appreciated having a mini fridge to store our snacks. The top shelf did freeze. Not high end luxury but it hit the mark when we needed a place to stay for a night.

Really dirty outside. Sketchy at best. Run down to the point of exhaustion. Photo does not match. Fans in the room do not push air. Staff were helpful and that was and is very appreciated. The property was over sold in the Expedia ad and way underperformed. WOULD NOT recommend for a stay. Very unfortunate. I had an opportunity not to book due to a credit card error, I truly wish I had taken the opportunity not to complete.

This is a very old property, the pictures of bedrooms showing the 90’s jacquard fishing theme upholstery love seat are accurate, we had one in our room. It’s 25+ years old! There was no charming landscaping outside. We had to walk past nasty old appliances sitting outside the restaurant’s kitchen. There are only outside stairs, no elevator. No air conditioning, fans were in the room. The shower head was rusty/dirty. Towels were clean. The breakfast has decent basic options like breads, cereals, cream cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee. There were lots of milk choices. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, of different thickness. If you just need a cheap place to stay this will do.

The room was quiet and comfortable. My only complaint was the towels looked like bar rags. You collect a credit card with deposit if you are afraid your guests might steal your towels, what is the problem. Decent towels would improve the over all appearance of the room.
