Lovely overnight stay in a beautiful pub/inn. The rooms are tastefully decorated, good-sized bathroom and with a balcony view across the valley. Service was very friendly and efficient, dinner was delicious and the bar service was good. Breakfast was nice, all the expected choice and well-prepared. It’s a really lovely, well-run place to stay and dine.

Great place for an overnight stay - room comfortable, no view but we already knew that. Limited storage but no problem for overnight. Great buffet breakfast and friendly staff

this place is ok but well off the beaten track and access is via some very narrow hilly lane lots of it is single lane so if another car is one the road one would have to reverse. room was ok as the picture. when i came to use the facilities in the moring though the hot water was discoloured yellow cold was ok so they must have a scaled up hot water cylinder...

Location of property was difficult to locate due road closure but lack good signage as alternative direction, it took over an hour to locate the property from a 1 mile radius. Difficult to get through to customer service by phone.

Nice staff, food and drink but not clean and dated

The hotel was for the most part really nice, the staff are really friendly and it has a wide selection of drinks and food. We did have a few problems, We stayed in the suit it was very big with a lovely view. It was also clean but all the furniture had marks on and some of the wall paper was coming off the walls also the iron had no plug on it. The biggest one was the big box outside our room that has dirty and mouldy toilet paper in it. It has clearly been there for days as it smelled very badly. This also affected our room as it smelled of damp mold. I did request it to be moved but nothing happened. I'm sure it won't be there on your stay but it is something that needed to be noted.

We had a long weekend walking with friends. Fabulous views across the valley and easy access to the moors behind, an abundance of footpaths. We were lucky to have fine autumnal weather for all our stay. The service was excellent, very helpful staff.👍😁
