The chalet was fantastic! We had an amazing time! The only thing we weren't expecting was that the bedrooms were in the basement. I could've just missed that in the listing though. The bigger room had the direct access to the jacuzzi, but you can get to it just fine from the deck. The area was spacious and quiet. Everyone slept amazingly. It was our first family vacation with our 4 month old. The deck has amazing shade for those hot afternoons, baby was fine in her chair with some bug stickers. Would 100% rent again. Thank you to the host for making this a memorable stay!

Spent a relaxing 4 days at this cottage, enjoying the birdsong, crickets, and general quietness. Lake allows no motorized watercraft. Beds comfortable, slept so well. Everything spotlessly clean. Couple things to note: do not expect to swim in this lake, as it's covered in lily pads and the bottom muddy; there's no beach at all. Bring your own canoe or kayak. Firepit appreciated, and we built a wonderful fire one night. The basement door to the hottub sticks, and extremely difficult to open. We never did manage to watch television, as the batteries in the remote didn't work. The washer and dryer looked fine but displayed a large sign "Staff only". Finally, a welcome guide with some basics would have been appreciated - how to work the heat pump, hot tub instructions, tv instructions, which outside container to use for garbage, recycling or compost, and so on.
