I had a number of frustrating experiences while staying in this place, however the management group responded each time and resolved every issue I brought up within a reasonable period of time. And I don’t expect the issues I ran into to be consistent problems for other people. Plus, the provided garage parking was noticeably a much better option than on the street! Overall, not a bad place to stay, certainly seems well-run.
Property was exactly as advertised. Property manager was quick to respond to inquiries. Building was quiet and the residents I ran into were friendly. WiFi was very laggy with the TV, but didn’t spend a lot of time watching anyway. Underground parking garage was a nice plus, just don’t bring a full sized truck. My midsize truck barely fit. Less than a 5 minute drive to get to the blue line on MetroLink and plenty of food and shopping options close by as well. 15 minute walk to get to beautiful Forest Park. Will definitely return when I go back to The Lou.

Interesting stay
We loved the charm of the apartment. There were a few issues with the apartment, that I would definitely consider when booking here. The appliances are pretty outdated, which would be fine, but unfortunately the oven did not work at first. I appreciate the communication with the host, as they were very kind and made sure to fix this. The apartment also smelled strongly of propane when we entered, which they also came to fix. There is also no light inside the fridge, but it was not that big of a deal. I really appreciated the attention they provided but it was frustrating that we had people in our room not once, but twice to fix things that should’ve been taken care of prior to arrival. There were a couple other small things but overall it was a good and comfortable stay for me and my significant other. I will say that the parking garage was nice to have to not worry about street parking, but the garage itself is very run down, and if you have a smaller car like ours, it may also hit the bottom of your car, this is unfortunately what happened with our car, so just a warning with that. For reference we have a Kia Forte.
First the good:1) The queen size bed was very comfortable (if you're gonna get one thing right, it's good it's the bed).2) Management was very responsive to any problems, questions, or issues. Kind and courteous. A.2) It was quiet. Stayed for 9 nights and was never bothered by noise. 3) Water pressure and hot water were both good in the shower.4) The building and the neighborhood both felt very safe.5) I kind'a liked the circus theme. It warmed the place up. The not so good:1) As other's have noted, it's a stretch to say it sleeps 3. Besides the bed, there is a very small futon. OK for a small child or a very small adult, but much too small for most adults / bigger kids. 2) Other than the bed, there was no comfortable furniture. The futon was low and awkward, the kitchen chairs were very flimsy, and there were two small decorative plastic chairs I was afraid I'd break. One good, comfortable armchair would be a GREAT addition. 3) The air conditioner was weak. It was ok for an April visit, but I don't think it would be up to a full St. Louis summer. My guess is the unit would be quite hot in July and August. 4) The water pressure was weak in both the bathroom and kitchen sinks. Made cleaning up tedious and time consuming. 5) The inside of the building was clean, but some of the secondary areas were unkempt. Some trash and debris in the backyard. Some litter and dirt in the garage. So a mixed bag. Everything was really fine. But room for improvement.
Great property for being in and around St. Louis. Parking garage is a bonus and avoids off street parking. Will recommend

Go Elsewhere
First of all the place had an odor. There were many lamps with NO plugs so lighting was bad. Then the kitchen had a coffeemaker, blender, and toaster with No outlets except the refrigerator which had the microwave on top, plugged in. Friday evening a man entered the main door yelling very angry/drunk at 2AM and banged up the stairs past my apartment. It happened again the same thing the next night. It was very scary! Also No cold water in kitchen. Thus go elsewhere!

Too much furniture
To start, the listing did not give an accurate description of the sleeping arrangements. Listing claimed pull out couch for two adults and it was a futon for 1 adult. There was also no blanket or pillows left for that sleeping arrangement.
Host knew that three were coming for the reservation and only supplied two towels with no back ups on site. When we made them aware of the situation, they were timely in their response. We stated we needed additional towels and a blanket for the person sleeping on the futon. They said they would be happy to bring us the additional supplies.
When we received the additional supplies it was a top sheet (not a blanket) and towels.
We also felt uneasy to the point that we put a side table against the door while we slept, because there was no indication that the door actually locked after we entered.
Lastly, there was an abundance of unneeded furniture that cluttered the space.
