Stunning Estate on almost 2 acres with down island views of St John and the BVI
Peace of Mind Villa (POMVilla) is a private, secluded, water front Villa and is also privately gated. Fully air-conditioned, 2-story villa built into the slope of the tropical landscapes on the East side of St. Thomas only minutes from Red Hook. Find tranquility while taking in the magnificent views from the very private, newly renovated pool or while refreshing on a lounge chair located on one of two spacious, full-length balconies that overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Thatch Cay, and down island views of The British Virgin Islands and St. John. The privacy is absolute, once inside the villa and poolside you do not see any other houses.
Occupancy rates are for up-to 17 total guests all being comfortably housed using the 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms plus two bonus rooms that have bunkbeds. Villa includes a fully equipped “Chef’s” Kitchen, electric security gate, parking for 4-5 vehicles with a covered entryway to the villa, private pool, full-length balconies on both levels, media room and much more. The villa was designed with an open concept allowing you to take in the view from almost every room and step out onto the balcony to feel the cooling trade winds and bask in the tropical sunshine.
The main level Primary bedroom with King-size bed, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and double sinks opens to the adjoining Nook through French Doors. Sliding doors to the balcony open to a private sitting area with ocean views. The Nook shares the en suite bathroom and can sleep three on the Twin over Queen bunkbed.
The main level second bedroom with Queen-sized bed and private bathroom is located next to the open concept kitchen, dining area and media room. The media room and all bedrooms have Dish Network with Smart TV’s, Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa and a wireless sound system for music.
The lower level of POMVilla contains four more private bedrooms with one being a King to 2 Twin option and 3 Queen-size beds, one of which is a "family suite" that connects to a bonus room with twin bunk beds and an adjoining full bathroom. The additional bathroom with a tub/shower combo is located central in the lower lever for shared use as well.
The Private Entry "Studio" type Bedroom can be accessed from the lower level balcony and includes a Queen-sized bed and full bathroom. The Laundry Room with two stackable washers and dryers is located next to the Private Entry Bedroom on the lower level. Both main and lower level balconies have outdoor seating with tables and lounge chairs for both sun tanning and relaxing in the shade.
Please note: The security gate and parking area are equipped with security cameras that run at all times, these cameras are for villa security, no other cameras are located in any areas where guests have access or can be viewed. (Coming Soon - see the current ocean view via our Youtube Channel.)
POMVilla is equipped with a Solar Water System that has a UV and triple water filtration system making the water safe to drink. As the island typically experiences power outages POMVilla has a brand new Tesla Solar system as well as an automatic generator that will power the entire villa leaving you unaffected by the power outages.
The entire villa is Non-Smoking, we ask that you do not smoke/vape inside or by open windows and doors. Should you smoke outdoors - you must not litter the grounds and dispose of the items safely into the trash receptacles. We do not allow glass of any kind NEAR or IN the pool or on the pool deck areas, this is for your safety and future guests safety and you will want to avoid the cost of draining, cleaning, and refilling the pool.
Walking down your private, tropical, rustic staircase path to the oceanside you can relax and reconnect while listing to the waves on the patio just a few feet above the waterline. Feeling the ocean breeze, and soaking in the warming sunshine while behold enchanting sunrises and sunsets on this oceanside rustic patio is a must. We strongly recommend against swimming in the ocean at this location, the view is magical and inviting, however, the current and rocks can be very dangerous.
When thinking of booking please remember our base occupancy rate is for 1-12 guests and additional fees for guests over that count up to 17 max occupancy and that Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are premium weeks and premium rates will apply, these dates along with Whale Watching Season dates book quickly.
We also offer a heated pool option for an additional cost. The temperature of the pool generally runs between 78-79 degrees in the morning to 80-81 degrees in the late afternoon from the sun. With the heated pool option the pool will never be below 84 degrees for your entire stay. Heating the pool is very energy extensive, The electric rates in the USVI are some of the highest in the world. This is why there is an additional charge for this option.
