There is an entrance to Acadia about 5 min away and it leads you to the more quite side of the park which was wonderful. Rich and Julie provide a full list of things to do, places to eat, and everything you could possibly need to know to plan your trip. We would stay at their place again."

"This hotel has many wonderful features! It feels like an old time resort, with a wonderful restaurant that overlooks Bar Harbor. The views from the room were wonderful and the pianist in the bar was a treat! Acadia is right next-door, and you can walk to town. It was awesome!"

"Overall, not a bad stay for the budget. I got worried reading other reviews but my bed and bathroom were clean, and the room had a fridge and microwave. There edges of the room and appliances were dusty and the furniture and carpet were need of an update. Basic continental breakfast but most days I left early to go to the park and breakfast only started at 7 AM. I came back by 6:30 PM, so parking was never an issue, but it is a small lot with an overflow lot across the street."

"From a picture, we thought we would be closer to the water. There was a little view of it. This would be a great place for families with children in the warmer months, pool, and lots of room to run around or ride bikes. This is an older hotel that has been updated. We wanted to Uber into Bar Harbor but no Ubers were in the area. Luckily we were able to find parking both evenings."
