Lodging near Stretch Point State Park, Washington

"This home was immaculate! Everything was clean and worked perfectly. And that view is just breathtaking. The differences in low tide and high tide make you feel like your on a small lake one minute and then the ocean in the next. 3 kayaks are available to use and we took them out almost everyday. We also saw seals multiple times a day playing out in the water and ever jumping up on the dock. The pictures do not do this property justice. We can not thank you enough for sharing your home with our family. We had the best vacation ever and hope to be back again :) "

"Property was fine. Only complaint is that there is no can opener in the kitchen"

"Everything was good.....there's a spider web at the ceiling in the hallway that should be removed. I think this house was advertised that it sleeps 4. That would be difficult. There's a bedroom with a queen size bed and another smaller room with a day bed. The bed frame reaches wall to wall so it would be hard to pull out the second mattress and sleep 2 people comfortably. The house worked for just the two of us."

"Great host. Everything you could need. Kayaks, life vests, cornhole, barbecue, etc. We were there on the busy holiday weekend and still peaceful and quiet. Boat launch would be super convenient but we didn't have a boat and it is not loud at all. Just pop kayaks in from front steps. Great, well stocked kitchen. Clearly a loved place. "

"Magical place! Way beyond my expectations! Kids explored, used their imaginations, caught tons of bullheads and to top it off, we saw two Orca right out front on the last night!!! Gorgeous, artistic house, we’ll loved and cared for. We will come back! Thx SO much!"

"Can't say enough great things about this house! Fully stocked kitchen (with sharp knives!), plenty of space, thoughtful things for the kids, easy beach access... The home felt lived in and cozy and had everything we needed for q long weekend vacation. We didn't want to leave. Can't wait to stay here again!"

"Both the island in general and this home in particular are both very sweet. It was a lovely place to spend a few days. We saw many deer, a pod of four orcas and just generally enjoyed our time there. I should add, the property is managed by Vacasa with all the downsides for guests that usually entails: dirty dishes were placed back on the shelves (yuck) and the paper goods (toilet paper, tissue, paper towel) are about as low quality as can possibly be purchased. You’ll use far more than if they just stocked it with quality goods. The white bath towels in the bathroom were also full of brown stains. They had been laundered, but were stained and never should have been put back into use. These things did not ruin our stay and we would go back but are worth noting. "

"Good house for a family if you can climb stairs. The amount of stairs was a surprise. . Location on the water was fabulous for kayaking. We thought it would be easy to get our kayaks down to the water from the parking area - NOT. We ended up driving to the community beach area to put our kayaks in. Saw a gray whale!! We still had a great time. Ants on the counter. Pest control needs to visit."
