Good price and nice hotel

The room was nice and very nice. Bed was comfortable. Tub works but shower didn’t. Wrote them a note to let them know.

If you’re trying to fish in santee cooper and you don’t want to break the bank it’s a good spot. Really nice staff, sweet little restaurant next door. You should obviously know that when you don’t pay a lot for lodging it’s not going to be the nicest

I like the ease of locale by 95. Im not fancy. Clean sheets..yes Cheap price..yes Ammenities.. None. And i was charged again upon arrival. Friendly clerk at desk.

Good economical overnight accomidations

It is a older motel. The office area and interior halls look the part. The assigned room, however, was just fine. Clean and in good condition, heating system worked fine, plentiful ice in the ice machine in the hall. The room did not have the microwave as I had expected but the staff delivered one promptly.

The place was old, smelled & disgusting! We saw 2 baby roaches and lots of little bugs in the bathroom. No breakfast or coffee. The surrounding area is sketchy. Our reservation was for 3 nights and we left after the 1st night. The place should be torn down. A waste of my $166.00

I couldn’t even stay! Nor can I get a refund as I couldn’t check in they let me make reservations after 8 but no one was there for me to check in at all the place was a waste of money and now I’m out 130 dollars

Staff was very friendly & upgraded our room to king size bed instead of queen. All their ads advertise continental breakfast but all they offered was snack items for &1.00 each. Coffee was not available until 10 am. Our room was very clean but hallways were not. All in all for the price, it was acceptable.

Double charged, not worth single charge

I pre-paid for the room and then got charged directly as well (nearly $15 less on the direct charge). The Hotels.com folks were good enough to refund and let me keep my points. The place looks like it has not seen any work since it was likely built in the mid-60s when I-95 was opened in that area. Parking lot is full of craters. Almost deserted.

This is an older facility which probably was very nice in it's day. Positives: it was close to the highway, it was clean and quiet. The shower had ample pressure and the temperature was consistent. I felt safe. Negatives: The office had limited hours (didn't open until 10 AM) so at check-out, you just left the key and TV remote (yes, they handed you a remote when you checked-in) on a window sill outside the office. The bed was OK but the pillows were a rock. Towels were skimpy. I couldn't get WiFi (it was available but I couldn't connect). No clock, no shampoo, no coffee. There was car up on blocks in the parking lot. Beyond this, the place is a very nice one-star mote.

Never again

Stayed here because we were stranded by a major snowstorm and every other hotel/motel in the area was full. A depressing, dismal, dingy place -- almost nothing had been updated since the 1960s. We really had no choice given the weather that night -- under any other circumstances we would have continued driving to find better accommodations. The next morning I couldn't wait to get out of there, especially after killing a cockroach in the bathroom.

There was 1 restaurant within ten miles, and not too good. TV was old and blurry, internet was slow and lost many times.
