Stovetop was a problem and the room on 2F was not expected. Best to check all the details. But the staff made up for it. Tried to fix the stovetop issue and then opened up another room where the stovetop was functional. The hotel also threw in a breakfast due to the issue. Otherwise great place. Hotel is right next to the supermarket and stores. Very convenient and scenic location.

Lovely property, with well decorated spaces. The room was quite large, with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Picture perfect views from windows. Staff really welcoming, and happy to offer advice for dining options / local insider knowledge. Very good breakfast.

Inside the northernmost church in the world! The Svalbard church sits on a hill overlooking Longyearbyen. It's got a lovely fireside community room with wooden tables and Scandinavian-patterned cushions and then a church hall with an altar and small touches throughout that remind you exactly where you are on top of the world.
