I stayed 3 days, a lovely old colonnial hotel, the public areas were really impressive but my room really needed an update especially in the bathroom where the paint was pealing off the ceiling. Location is very good near to everything.

The hotel is located right in front of a park, and there is a bus terminal and convenience store nearby. It was also very convenient to be able to book local tours and other activities nearby. Our room had a garden terrace, which gave it a very open and relaxing feel. Although there was no air conditioning, we were able to stay comfortably without any problems. The TV was mainly used for streaming through internet-connected apps, so we did not have to worry about the language of the channels. Breakfast included not only Malaysian dishes but also bread, porridge, pho, and other options. In particular, we really enjoyed the omelet. The chef prepared it fresh for us, and when we asked him to add cheese, he kindly made it for us. It was delicious. The hotel has a charming retro atmosphere, but it was also clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a very pleasant stay. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tanah Rata.

Century Pines is a very nice hotel located in the center of Tanah Rata. For a hotel of this class we were surprised that Century Pines lacks a decent restaurant.
