"An amazing apartment. Located in the center of Kyoto. The Manager of the Hotel was very friendly and helpful. Assisted with many things- renting bikes, shipping luggage. Very service minded.
A very quiet place in the evening. Highly recommended

"We had an amazing 3 day stay at Art Mon Zen. From the moment we arrived to leaving, the staff were exceptional and extremely attentive. Probably the best hotel stay in Japan. Overall, the room was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day visiting all the sensational sights in Kyoto. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay near the main Gion district in Kyoto."

"We had the best experience with this beautiful Ryokan. The staff was so sweet, the food was amazing, and the room was 10 out off 10. I definitely recommend this amazing Ryokan. I do recommend to know the basics of Japanese to better communicate with the staff. The location was as well perfect, walk distance from the main attractions and that made it easier for us to visit them without having many tourist around."

"Great location, very walkable to many destinations. Best breakfast buffet I’ve had with a good mix of western and Asian foods. Clean, helpful staff, coin laundry available. If I return I will stay here again. "
"The Nogah Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto is an amazing place while you visit Kyoto. Starting with its location at the Gion district, a walking distance to all amazing temples Kyoto has to offer. Its modern design, the bakery at the lobby, the roof top bar, the spacious and relaxing room and most of all the kind and helpful staff, makes your stay memorable. Very Very recommended "
"A lady at the front was very attentive. Her advice to visit a quiet place and the restaurant was perfect. Without her, our stay would have been different. "
"The room we had was clean, size was exactly as expected for a hotel in the central part of a large city. It was known due to its central location it would be a little noisy at night, but it was manageable and we both managed to sleep soundly all nights of our stay.
The location was excellent for all things getting around. "
"The hotel is superb la!!!
1. Parking very convenient next door
2. Location 100/100 to be next to Kyoto Tower, rented our Kimono there and walkable to beautiful temple and places!
3. The onsen is good too, I particularly like the one with ice neck rest, 10-20mins only.
4. BREAKFAST is the highest standard for Japanese breakfast! Has Sashimi and all options!
5. Evening supper 9-11pm Ramen is good too, hearty
Not so good part: abit tooooo crowded and packed and touristy, and the shoe area can stink quite abit tbh..
