“Fantastic unique property, great views. Real mix of old and new. Very very quiet and nice to just slow a bit. Rocchina is a great host and really looked after us well, served us an appetiser and breakfast on our balcony as it was our wedding anniversary. Thank you Rocchina! This place is a little sanctuary off of the beaten track. We had a really good night sleep in the cave rooms. ”

“It seemed like the owners was surprised by us really coming, although we booked a few months in advance. No warm welcome, just a small buena Sierra, no smile, no wifi code. Room was good with a great view, but all the shared facilities looked like they didn't expect and want any guests. Chairs and tables on top of each other, construction in the front including noises. We asked about using the sauna or whirlpool but itc would have been an incredible 20€/Person. Usually, if a facility……

“The bad: Our first issue happened at check-in. We booked and paid for (months in advance) a double room (separate bed rooms) and ended up only one choice - a small single room with only one (squeaking and uncomfortable) bed. There was no air conditioning, no fan and there was rising damp in the walls. The shower curtain was disgusting with mould. The pillows smelt damp and disgusting, and the room was humid and hot and smelt like mildew. Every night we were woken up by the farm dogs barking and……

“There was no place to check in. I went to the door that indicated it was a real estate office, which was the closest thing to an office. No one answered. Went three different times trying to get in. They have boarded windows. Never did see the inside of the place.”

“Did not even come close to our expectations. We checked in just to have somewhere to catch our breath and look for alternative accommodation. Left without talking to the host as we didn't want to waste any more time there. It was a converted garage and the so called courtyard was non excistent as your car needed to be parked in what was in fact the driweway.”
