Adorned with stylish residences and upmarket shops, Saint-Georges is a lively quartier(quarter) to visit in central Toulouse. Its northern corner features French and international restaurants. In the southwestern corner of the quarter stands the Musée des Augustins. Relax in its scenic courtyard and spot the redbrick tower rising from its corner. Once inside, admire the impressive sculptures dating from the Middle Ages to the 1940s. Stroll down the neighboring cobbled avenues and browse the items for sale in the exclusive brand stores.

The Saint-Georges district is just east of the civic and geographical center of the city. Travel by metro to any of the Capitole, Jeanne d’Arc, Jean-Jaurès, Esquirol or François-Verdier stops that surround this triangular-shaped district. You can also drive and leave your vehicle in one of the parking lots. Surroundings zones include Capitole, Saint-Etienne and Matabiau.
