It is convenient to walk to the airport bus stops or the meeting point of northern light tour or any site seeing pick up point. They offer breakfast, tea time and also dinner for guests. The room is cozy and the hotel is not next to the main road, so that you would have a quiet and comfortable night for sleeping, especially after a northern light tour. The setting was beautiful, right on the harbour and with view of the cathedral. Our bed was lovely and comfy and the room temperature was just right, not too hot or too cold. Bathroom was spacious and shower was good. There was a good variety at breakfast although staff were sometimes a little slow to replenish. We enjoyed the Fika in the afternoons ( free hot drink and cake). We only had the complimentary dinner once. Please beware the food is cleared away very quickly at end of service!! The bar is very small and not particularly inviting so we went out to neighbouring bars. Kein Platz für Kleider und minimaler Gang. Das im Preis inbegriffene Nachtessen war sehr karg und ohne jegliche Vielfalt, sei es im Salatbuffet oder im Hauptgang. Die Zimmerreinigung ist verbesserungsfähig. Schon bei der Ankunft waren die Shampoo- und Duschgelflaschen leer. In der Dusche waren noch fremde Haare. Auch im Saunabereich war alles leer und Handtücher nicht nachgefüllt. Beim Essen gab es nicht genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten und Küche und Personal kamen mit dem Nachfüllen von Essen und Geschirr nicht hinterher. Das Essen beim Abendessen war an einem Abend noch halb gefroren. Geschmacklich wäre es gut gewesen. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist nicht überragend. Lose Dichtungen und Fugenschimmel in der Douche. Kein Kühlschrank und zu kurzes Kabel für den Teekocher.
