Single-family house for exclusive use, quiet and not isolated area between Umbria and Tuscany

Immersed in the green hills of Umbria, 700 meters above sea level, in an ideal setting for excursions in the surrounding area (Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Siena, ...) and walks in the woods, the house for exclusive use completely at guests' disposal, it is located right in front of the enchanting ancient village of Preggio, known for its history and for its numerous cultural and gastronomic events (Preggio music festival, Preggio in time, The chestnut festival).
The house, independent but not isolated, has a large equipped garden (1000 sqm), shaded and completely fenced, where you can spend moments of pleasant relaxation in contact with nature. Inside, renovated with care and with quality materials, there is a bright living room with a characteristic wooden loft, the stove, the fireplace, the open kitchen, the dining area, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. On the ground floor, which is accessed via a narrow and a bit steep staircase, the laundry and a recreation room with a large fireplace complete the house.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus

Abgesehen von Bauarbeiten in der Nachbarschaft und seher bellfreudigen Hunden in großer Zahl war das ideal zum Entspannen - auf relativ großem Anwesen mit altem Baumbestand - und als Ausgangspunkt für Touren in der Umgebung. (Vorsicht: Teils kriminell schlechter Straßenzustand.) Das Klima ist sehr angenehm, da in knapp 700m Höhe, und konkret auf dem Grundstück wegen der Bäume. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und engagiert und völlig unkompliziert.

Great relaxing house in Umbrian hill

The house is simply a perfect place for enjoying some relaxing holidays. Perfect for the location with easy access to towns, medieval hilltop villages and parks; perfect for the functionality with easy and practical solutions for every day life; perfect for the charm of the details and overall perfect for the relax and refreshment that the house was giving to us. The garden offers several spots where to seat or lay down under the sun or shadow. But mostly, the garden offers a great refreshing place where to cool down from the heat of the day. Rossella has been one of the greatest host, welcoming us with a warm smile, showing the place with care, giving the needed information on how to move around and being super fast in replying to any question we had. We can only highly recommend this place and we can assure that we will go back one day to catch up with all what we could not do as well as to enjoy again the quietness and relax of this house Grazie Rossella per l'ospitalità. Come riporta la formella in cucina, dopo il caloroso benvenuto di Rosella a base di vino e cioccolatini, è stato il saluto di San Francesco ad accoglierci e accompagnarci nella splendida vacanza che abbiamo passato in Umbria. La casa è molto ben arredata e dotata di tutti i confort, anche per vivere il bellissimo giardino apprezzato per la frescura e la privacy e per il meritato riposo dopo le tante tappe nei borghi e nelle città d’arte dei dintorni. È stato proprio un dispiacere dover ritornare a Milano, avremmo volentieri prolungato la permanenza!!! La casa non è però adatta a chi ha difficoltà motorie. L’automobile è necessaria.

Una vacanza rigenerante nella tranquillità e bellezza umbra

Se desiderate una vacanza all'insegna della tranquillità e bellezza, questa è la casa per voi. Immersa nel verde, ma non isolata, la casa è deliziosa e dotata di tutto quello che può servire ad una vacanza. La signora Rosella è molto gentile e garbatamente presente per ogni esigenza. Noi abbiamo due cani,che hanno goduto di un grande giardino e della possibilità di fare belle e lunghe passeggiate nei boschi circostanti. Da Preggio, in poco tempo si possono raggiungere luoghi ricchi d'arte come Perugia e Gubbio o passeggiare lungo le sponde del Trasimeno. Se si desidera assaggiare la cucina umbra, come la potrebbe cucinare la mamma, non ci si può perdere la tavola della signora Teresa a Corciano, che con grande cortesia e gentilezza mette in tavola i sapori umbri. La signora Rosella ve ne fornirà i contatti. Cos'altro dire...ci siamo stati proprio bene! Elisa, Dino, Avana e Dalia

Mooi en smaakvol ingericht huis in een heerlijke omgeving

Het huis en de bijbehorende schaduwvolle grote tuin bleek nog beter dan wij hadden verwacht. Mooi en smaakvol ingericht en op een prachtige rustige locatie in de bergen van Umbrie met nog enkele huizen er omheen. Op enkele kilometers van het huis een aantal kleine dorpjes zoals Castel Rigone en Preggio en iets verder het Lago di Trasimeno. Prachtige steden als Perugia en Assisi en andere stadjes zijn goed bereikbaar, maar ook de directe omgeving is de moeite waard. Niet onvermeld moet worden het warme welkom van Rosella en haar dochter Maria Louisa. Voor alle vragen kun je bij hen terecht. Een heerlijke tijd hebben wij daar gehad. Adriaan

Overtrof al onze verwachtingen, wat een prachtig huis en locatie!

Het huis is zeer hoogwaardig afgewerkt, smaakvol ingericht en van zeer goede kwaliteit. Volledig ingerichte keuken en prachtige badkamer. Het woongedeelte is gezellig en te verwarmen met CV en palletkachel. Het huis ligt op 750m hoogte in een prachtige natuur met nog wat huizen in de directe omgeving maar daar merk je niets van. Het is een oase van rust met een enorme omheinde tuin, rondom het huis. Wij waren met 3 honden en konden hen heel goed alleen buiten laten als wij eropuit gingen. De honden hebben ook enorm genoten. Om boodschappen te doen moet je wel een stukje rijden omdat je echt in de natuur woont, steile wegen kenmerken de directe omgeving. Fietsen is praktisch onmogelijk. De mensen in de buurt hebben over het algemeen ook 1 of meerdere honden die je af en toe hoort blaffen overdag maar in de avond en nacht merk je hier helemaal niets van en is het echt een oase van rust waar je alleen het geluid van de krekels hoort. In het plaatsje Castel Rigone waar je doorheen rijdt als je op pad gaat zit een waanzinnige pizzeria die gerund wordt door Vanessa, zij is DE pizzabakker van Italië wat mij betreft. Ook andere heerlijke gerechten maakt zij met plezier klaar. In Castel Rigone is ook een kleine supermarkt voor de eerste levensbehoefte. Het Trasimenomeer ligt dicht in de buurt van het huis en echt prachtig. Onze contactpersoon Maria Luisa is een buitengewoon aardige vrouw die ons regelmatig een berichtje stuurde met de vraag of zij nog iets voor ons kon betekenen. Samenvattend: Prachtig huis, waanzinnige omgeving met zeer grote omheinde tuin en daardoor meer dan ideaal voor kinderen en honden. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug!

Wunderschönes Haus mit großem Grundstück in abgeschiedener Umgebung

Das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Grill, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Kamin (wenn benötigt) sind vorhanden. Die Garten- und Terrassennutzung mit einer Tischtennisplatte, einer Gartendusche und mehreren Sitzarrangements lassen sofort Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen. Die sehr netten Gastgeber, die auch viele hilfreiche Tipps geben, sind bei Bedarf jederzeit erreichbar; Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben. Die Lage ermöglicht es, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden, die innerhalb von 20 - 45 Minuten mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen sind. Wir (zwei Erwachsene, ein Kind, ein Hund) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und behalten das Haus in guter Erinnerung.
