It was a lovely clean lodging in the most beautiful location. Easy walk into town and to the best beach bar on the island. Could do with a hairdryer and air conditioning but perfect for a few days.
The inn is lovely with nice rooms and outside is very well maintained. You go directly to the beach which is across the inn. Sandra, the owner does everything possible for the guests to feel home.
We had a wonderful tour of the island with many places to visit. Highly recommended, we loved it and we’ll go back.
Gracias. Situated about a 20 minute walk away from Clifton, the Islanders Inn was ideal for a Union Island holiday. Simplistic and rustic yet a beautiful location on the beach. Sandra was helpful in any way we needed - helping arrange taxis around the island, making recommendations, and helping us arrange a Tobago Cays trip
This was an excellent stay with the most friendly and helpful owner (Sandra) and personnel (Petra). A home away of home feeling all day, we loved to talk to Sandra and Petra and play with the lovely dog of the house. We also received some drawings from the beautiful and kind girl (Kayleigh) and it was great to see her smile every day.
Excellent location, the sea is just 3 steps from the house, and the beach is in a long bay with a white sand and green everywhere around- a hill with a view to all islands is just in the corner. The whole place is unique with a quite, isolated atmosphere but at the same time very close to everything. The house is beautifully designed, with coconut trees and many other plants/flowers in the garden and beautiful details everywhere. Our room in the 1st floor had a very large balcony with the most stunning view to the sea and the Mayraeu island, where we could hear the waves every night. Everything was perfectly clean, our towels and sheets were changed every 2 days thanks to Petra, Sandra was close to us every day trying to accommodate all our needs, from arranging a trip to Chatham bay to a tour to Tobago cays, and both gave their best to serve us the best breakfast and dinner every day.
We would definitely suggest Islander's Inn to everyone who will visit Union Island and we wish we can be back soon.
This is a nice hotel in a quiet location almost on the beach and with a lovely view over to Mayreau. Sandra, Helena and Petra do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one. It is about a fifteen minute walk to town so a reasonable level of fitness is advised. Highly recommended.

The Inn is on a lovely beach in a private location. The staff were very accommodating, attentive, and thoughtful. We enjoyed a special anniversary weekend at the Inn and look forward to our return.
The Islander's Inn will give you an unique insight into Caribbean living and culture. Sandra and Clyde are wonderful hosts who happily great you morning, noon or evening. If you want a meal prepared, no problem. Clyde is your man and chef. The food is great. One morning I said I'd rather not have orange juice so Clyde reached into a palm tree and picked a coconut. There's nothing like fresh coconut water and the gel for a morning drink.
The ocean was steps from the veranda and during the night we could hear the soothing sounds of waves on the beach. Clyde arranged taxis for us, and island tours along with suggestions for other tropical eating establishments.
Our room was large with a very large balcony facing the ocean. This is Caribbean living!
Sandra and Clyde were great hosts! Friendly, helpful, and locally informed on activities and travel suggestions. The views of the Grenadine Islands were lovely, and the stars at night even better!!

Location and room were not so nice as expected, no real beach for swimming (good beach 10 min walk away), we got a very small room and had to share the little table in front with our neighbours.
They have rooms on the upper floors one they offered us had no hot water and a view to a roof.
Restaurant was good, but you get the same quality cheaper in town (20 min walk over the hill).
In the night you hear the sounds of the ocean, hopefully not the noise of other guests separated only by a thin door.
Clyde and Sandra own a small, private, impeccably clean hotel near the beach on the north shore of the island. They are happy to accommodate guests in any way possible: arranging for taxis, advising on travel to the island, scheduling trips to local attractions, recommending restaurants or providing directions. We stayed on the second floor, where the ocean breeze keeps the rooms cool. They rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, and all rooms have standard amenities. While breakfast and coffee are always available in the morning, Clyde is happy to cook dinner for guests if he is notified before 12 noon. The owners are very happy to provide guests with space or to social with guests; it just depends on what the guests want. The beach near the hotel is comfortable and inviting, and there is also a shaded table there where one can relax at night or during the day. The balconies of the units are quite large and offer views of the ocean. One hears the waves of the oceans from the rooms. At night the environment is quite and ideal for relaxation on the balconies or for sleeping. This hotel, in my opinion, is better than those in Clifton, as it is cleaner, much more private and next to a beach. This was probably one of the best trips I have taken in the last ten years, and it is largely due to the hospitality and generosity of Clyde and Sandra, who are respected by everyone on Union Island. Stay here; you will thoroughly enjoy it.
Clyde and his wife did everything to make our stay wonderful, even upgraded our room free of charge. I highly recommend this hotel for an authentic Caribbean (Union Island) experience.
Hotel owners were incompetent and rude. I was not able to stay even though paid for the room. Still trying to recover the payment now.
Very bad experience, wouldn't recommend or trust these people.
We had been island hopping for several weeks and were delighted to find that Islanders Inn is located on the quiet side of the island yet accessible to town...10-15 minute walk.
The owners, Sandra and Clyde could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They wanted their guests to have a great experience on Union Island and at their hotel.
Our room was light and bright with French doors opening onto a balcony with lounge chairs...a great place to relax and escape the noonday sun. Anita cleaned our room daily and offered laundry services for us as well.
We had Internet, flat screen TV, electric kettle, and access to a fridge. Although we could have had breakfast and lunch in our room, we choose eat with Sandra and Clyde or other guests. Dinners here were made by Clyde who does an outstanding job preparing fish, lobster, conch, chicken....and a fabulous oxtail soup!
The location of the Inn is beautiful with the sea right in front of you. The rooms are clean and convenient. It is walking distance from the ferry port, though it will be quite an uphill. The bar and restaurant are great to have, and the owner is an excellent cook. The service is very friendly!
