"Cactus Cove is a very well presented and comfortable property situated in an outstanding, peaceful location. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the garden/grounds including pool area are immaculately maintained. Our party was two couples who stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here, Thank you Sally."

The SunCatcher Fine Country Inn

3.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (117)
"The location was incredible, we were walking distance from the national park trailhead, soft brown dirt roads. The home is surrounded by a desert garden full of birds and wildlife. We actually SAW A HUGE JAVALINA walking back from the national park one evening at dusk (it grunted, and ran off into the underbrush). The host was amazing, such an interesting person, he used to own a famous restauraunt, and he made my wife and me the BEST BREAKFAST WE HAVE EVER HAD IN OUR LIFE, home made natural...

Frequently asked questions

What is the nightly rate for a Bed & Breakfast in Vail?
Prices for B&Bs in Vail often vary, but you can find a great deal from $258 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Vail B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed and Breakfast in Vail?
The best time to book a B&B in Vail is during the winter months, particularly from December to February, when the town transforms into a winter wonderland. This peak season attracts avid skiers and snowboarders who flock to Vail's world-class slopes, celebrated for their powdery snow and extensive terrain. With average temperatures ranging from the low 20s to mid-30s Fahrenheit, visitors can enjoy a crisp mountain climate while engaging in exhilarating outdoor activities.

January stands out as a particularly popular month, offering vibrant après-ski scenes, cozy lodges, and a festive atmosphere that enhances the winter experience. In addition to skiing, travelers can partake in snowshoeing, ice skating, and even scenic gondola rides that showcase stunning views of the snow-capped Rockies.

For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in late March. This month not only provides the benefit of spring skiing, with typically warmer temperatures averaging in the high 30s to low 50s Fahrenheit, but also fewer crowds as the peak season winds down. The longer daylight hours mean more opportunities for enjoying the beautiful alpine scenery while exploring charming shops and restaurants in the village.
What is the difference between a Vail B&B and a hotel?
Every Vail B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it's a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Vail B&Bs.
