“Perfect location for 2 people visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those……

“We loved staying at Volcano House! The property is beautiful and relaxing. It’s close enough to Hilo and ideally located right next to the Volcano national park. On Sunday the 20th we got an alert for Kīlauea episode 29 and quickly went to the lookout. We beat the crowds and watched the eruption, it was awesome. I still can’t believe how lucky we were to see it. I highly recommend staying here, the house is outstanding.”
